Just got this jacket a few weeks ago and used it on a climbing trip in Utah. Pretty warm but still needs a solid sweatshirt underneath to keep toasty on the nights dropping below 30F. Was a little disappointed that during the week there were a ton of little down feathers poking through the jacket at stitches and areas without any holes. Doesn't have a pocket to stuff into or a stuff sack and wish it had some type of chest pocket. Fit works really well for me. Tight waist, long arms and stretchy cuffs. Medium fit me perfect (6' tall, 30" waist, 42" chest, 34-35" arms). Got this on sale for $165, definitely happy at that price.

I've been using this when I go fly fishing at dusk and it has been a huge upgrade over my previous headlamp. Wading through big rocks is pretty tricky, and if you can't see it becomes not fun quickly. I would always just grab the whatever headlamp that was the cheapest I could find but decided to spend a couple extra bucks on this one and I'm really glad I did. Rechargeable battery is also great. I charged it when I first got it and haven't had to charge it after 6 sessions on the river.

I got this thinking it would be like a fleece mid layer that I could wear under a shell and at crags. It is really different than I expected. It is like a heavy knit sweater that gets a ton of pills on the fabric. Also, the care instructions are machine was cold, lay flat dry. So kind of annoying that I can't machine or hang dry it. And like a sweater, this does nothing to stop wind. You hold it up to the light and you can see through it.

So this thing isn't coming with me out on adventures, but it is crazy warm, comfortable, looks nice and the medium fits me perfect (6', 155lbs). It's just going to be a "going to the office" sweater.

I've been using this shoe bouldering on steep NE crimp faces and these things shine. Toe box is perfect for me, heel fits perfect (I have low volume heel), very down turned, great edging while still super sensitive. Had a pair of Miura VS's, but wasn't happy with the sensitivity. Had a pair of futura's also, didn't like the no edge, heel, and general sensitivity. I find that I really prefer unlined shoes.

Downside is the toe hooking isn't great, but that's what you get with a super downturned shoe with laces. I bring a pair of these and a pair of pythons with me and I have everything I need for 99% of boulder problems. Grab a pair of these discounted ones if you can find your size.

Sizing:
-Street: 10 (43.5)
-Pythons: 41.5
-Testarossa's: 42.5
-Mythos: 42

Worn this shoe about 12 times indoors and a couple times outside, really not into the no edge design. In situations where I would toe in and basically crimp with my toes, I end up blowing the foot. Also the feel is very different. In a normal shoe I feel a defined point that is the sweet spot and I can accurately place that point. With these, it feels like there isn't a specific point, but a blunt clog on my toe.

For sizing I'm a 10 (43.5), and wear a 41.5 in pythons, 42 in mythos, and got these in a 42. They were tight at first but stretched out perfectly and are really comfy. Probably going to sell them and get something with normal edge design

perfect crack climbing shoe
5 5

I'm a boulderer and don't know anything about climbing cracks. But, when my friend invited me to indian creek, I bought a pair of these, left my pythons at home and went west. I sized the shoes so my toes were just barely curled, and within the week they had stretched out and fit like a glove. By the end of the week, footwork was getting smooth and these were a dream in the cracks.
Sizing: I wear a 10 street shoe, pythons 41.5, mythos 42

Tried these at a demo and was not crazy about them. They did fit my feet well, not much bag around the heel (solution heels are baggy on my foot) and the rubber was sticky. It seems like a solid shoe but I climb in pythons, and the sensitivity I have with those is on another level. When I put these on they felt like wearing rubber rain boots.

Again, nothing wrong with the shoe, and if you are looking for a ton of rubber all around your foot, these things will probably do you right. But if you are used to climbing in something like pythons, these may rub you the wrong way. Best thing to do is just go to a store that carries them and try them on, then you'll know.

I am not a subtle guy, just ask any girl I've ever hit on :P, but fishing with this rod noticeably improved my presentation (switched from 5 wt graphite rod). I got the 7' 3wt for getting in small streams, going after brookies. Beautiful for bow and arrow casts, and I still have no problem sending 30-40 ft casts accurately.
One thing I did notice, the dots at the connections between segments do not line up between the top and middle, but the thing performs like a dream so I can't really complain about a dot.

Siurana worthy
5 5

I took this on a climbing trip in siurana, spain and it was perfect. The nights got down to low-mid forties at night and I was warm the whole time with just pants and a tshirt on underneath. I'm 6'0" and 155lbs, the long is a good length for me. There's a little extra feet room and some head room and room around the shoulders. It packs down to a reasonable size, easily fit in my suitcase.

Love the bindings. Took em out for the first time on a new powder set up. Had really quick heel/toe response in the trees, tons of padding for drops. Only thing I didn't like is that the screws connecting the plate to the board got loose a couple times. Not a big deal, kind of expected it with a new setup. But the padding on the footplate covers the screws, so you have to take the padding out in order to tighten em up again. Little annoying, but still great bindings.
