Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is the only river knife for me. Commercial guides and private boaters alike trust their lives to this very well thought out piece of gear. Best for saving you or your buddies life...or slicing avocados on the banks...

Use this as my back up river knife. It lives in my zippered pocket on my PFD. Stays sharp, super grippy, no rust. All the things you want from your secondary river knife.

Sweet Pro has been a long time fav of mine on the river. From their drysuits, to base layers, as well as all of the sweet protection they offer. This isn't my favorite helmet from them... I was a BIG fan of the old wanderer helmet, when it had the bigger bill/visor out front. But, since the redesign, the strutter has become my go to river lid. Buyer beware, sizing can be an issue, try on before you buy, or get really good measurements/ call a gearhead at Backcountry.com. Same goes for shades. I went through 4 pairs of sunglasses before i found a pair that didn't push to hard on my temples. Smith Captain's Choice seem to be the best so far.

I really do love these. I'm an Aire Head through and through. The NRS ones are a little more sturdy. If you love Aire, and you play in the H2O, then snag these as a back up, or to add to the ever growing straps you steel from all your river friends. *side note, sharpie not included. Make sure you make them with your name.*

I love this Sun Hoody. Kept stealing it from my BF last season wile we worked as Guides in California. Its best when freshly dunked in the icy cold snowmelt of a free flowing Cali River. Walk around cool and happy for hours in camp after your day of spending time in the water. The spf 50 is a big deal for keeping the hot as hell sun off your shoulders and head. Just make sure to buy a second one at the end of the season, because someone will steal it. :)

The silk weight is my favorite from NRS. Dries super fast, breaths really well. Blocks the suns bad rays. Added bonus, when you swim the Colorado in an Alpaca Pack Raft (because why are you in a pack raft on the Colorado, Right?) Your Mates will see you bobbing down stream in that super hi viz green...

Bought these for short bike tours and ended up using them as my go to for daily bike commuting as well as around town errands. Will fit virtually any bike frame rack, due to infinitely adjustable adapters and latches. 100% waterproof. I've even filled it with ice and beer for the 999 ride. Got home, forgot, and the next day, was full of water and not a drop had spilled out onto the floor. Love these things!!!

Bought these for my BF. He really likes them. He was stoked on a slimmer fitting pant, that wasn't all "skinny jeaned out" lol. Bonus-reflective material for your late night rides home from the pub.

Love these for rafting. They come with a really sick built in smith style chums that attaches to the back. The brown tenting works really well when trying to chose your line down river. I like these with the open bottom. Easier to clean and larger field of view.

Absolutely love this tiny little running belt. I've used it for small local training runs, as well as for lighter weight, longer trail runs. Its, perfect for a key, a few gels and your phone, depending on how big and new it is, you may be able to squeeze one of the UD Body Bottles or even a UD Grip Bottle in it as well. I even use it for Mountain Biking when I want to go fast and light and cross country is the name of the game.
