Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Worth the extra change.
Worth the extra change.
Pros: very cute, pretty comfortable, Velcro back pockets!
Cons: small thighs, a bit less stretch than I would like; not as comfortable for climbing as I was hoping.
I think the sizing is true, but the next size up might be more comfortable depending on the activity you're looking to use it for!
Awesome for climbing and hiking. Relaxed fit but not too baggy in the top. It fit a little longer than I was expecting so I'm glad I sized down. Very soft!
No more blisters! It's amazing! I have better circulation whilst running and overall I definitely look cooler.
I've searched far and wide for a pair of trail running shoes that fit just right, are gtx with fat tread for those sloppy trail days, and don't weigh you down with 2lbs of technology. whoooo baby these are the ticket. Super lightweight, mostly true to size (maybe the slightest bit big), not too flashy. If you're in the market for running shoes, these are the way to go!
I bought this pack for a spare day pack and to keep work supplies in. Turns out, it's too great and it's already been swapped out as my favorite for climbing, hikes, and work. It fits my laptop perfectly with protection, the internal pockets are ideal for a book bag as well as a day hike pack, this bag is what you need, you just don't know it yet. Also, it's a black hole so it's super durable!
EXTRA COMFY. It looks like you're trying, but really, you're wearing the most comfortable pajamas ever. I'm very pleased with this investment for all my forced upon formal occasions, because this dress is now my best kept secret. I will suggest sizing down. I chose an XS based on the reviews and it fits great! The dress falls just above my knees. It's not too revealing but ideal for the summer heat.
I was super psyched on this pack for summer adventures and the photos made it seem ideal for river trips. The main pocket is HUGE. It's a typical roll top dry bag, which I considered keeping for longer canyon trips involving wet gear, but I ended up deciding to return it because the bulkiness of the rolled top made the pack too much for day carry. It fits wider than my shoulders when on my back and loaded.
I would recommend this bag for very specific use, but I would prefer it with a smaller main compartment, probably in a 25L .
This is my new favorite way to show off my scrawny muscles. It's also the softest shirt I own. I wear running, climbing, and doing absolutely nothing. It does fall a bit long in the back, but it's so comfortable I don't mind.
I tried a few pairs before finding my perfect match. My feet have never been so happy. I wear a 7-7.5 in street shoe so I went with a 39. They stretched out a bit within the first few weeks, so I probably could have sized down half a size. I can't say this will be the best shoe forever, as technically, they're not the most advanced, but if you're looking for an ease into climbing, here's your foot in the door.
I'm certain that this is more than 8L. I use this bag for every activity, but primary it's my gym bag and home to my climbing shoes. If you need a magical bag to carry all the things, aka chalk bag, shoes, water, wallet, keys, change of clothes, and snacks, then this is the bag for you.
These were exactly what I was looking for! Easy to dress up or down, super comfy, enough stretch for an active everyday. The material is thick enough to be durable but still thin enough to remain breathable. I was looking for these to fit slightly loose, but the size 4 fit larger than I expected. I expect a 2 would have been a better choice. I would recommend sizing down, especially if you're taller and you're looking for the cuffs to reach your lower calf.
I love how sturdy these are. They translate well from the trail to pavement. They're lightweight but still provide plenty of support. I'm excited to feel them form to my feet as they're still a bit stiff. I went with a size 7, which is true to my street shoe size, and it's been great!
Awesome and technical fleece, I like to size in mens and was psyched about the textile green, but the men's small was a bit longer and wider than I was expecting. I don't fault the jacket for this, as I am a lady, but for any other ladies looking to snag this rad fleece, beware that my wee little arms weren't long enough couldn't reach the thumb holes! Otherwise, magical. I'll stick to the women's size on this one.
The perfect sweater for nordic tracks, an early hike, the climbing gym, out to dinner, wherever your heart desires, this sweater will get you there. I"ve worn this more than I can count and I've seen no signs of wear. I use it primarily as a base layer for my more active days, but I love that it can easily transition to an on the town sweater. The sizing is mostly true to size, as most base layers are a bit snug, however if you're looking to also use it as a day-to-day sweater, I would bump up a size. I was please with the extra room . I love everything about this sweater, I'm patiently waiting for it to come back into stock so I can order another color. Highly recommend!!
I gave this to my Dad as a gift and he loves it. He's used it all winter load to stove and said it was sturdy and durable. Super happy with the quality from Filson as always.
I love this sweater for a heavy layer. The collar is tall for colder, winter days . The deep pockets are super useful. I didn't find this sweater to be too bulky, and I think the photos represent it well. Overall super cozy!
I gave this as a gift, but he was so psyched on it I'm considering getting one for myself. Comes with everything you need and nothing you don't. I got him the 5 Weight, 9ft, perfect for Maine and Utah fishing, looking forward to my own!
I love these skis!
I'm a beginner classic cross-country skier so I was looking for something straight forward and simple. Wax-less base makes getting on the trail even faster. They are durable and sturdy and don't fly off when I take a digger down the hill. Good stuff.
For sizing I like to use:
I often size in men's and was psyched on the bright textile green color, but I was bummed when I realized that the Men's small was rather large for my stubby lady arms. My thumbs didn't reach the holes and the 1/4th zipper went nearly to my waist. I don't see this as a sizing issue, but for any smaller women looking to order the men's version for this technical fleece, I would suggest sizing down. Otherwise, the material is soft and I look forward to trying the women's size for climbing and trail running on the cold mornings!
