Familiarity: I've used it several times

This was my first helmet and I mainly used for rock climbing. I didn't notice the bigger profile it has over my half-dome helmet, which really became an issue when I started ice climbing because my jacket hoods do not fit over it very well at all. If you just want it for non-winter season climbing, it isn't bad, as long as you don't mind it looking huge on your head (especially with taller lengthy builds). For winter though, I would suggest a smaller profile helmet that you can easily slide your hood over.

Its comfortable because it is light weight so you won't feel the headstrap dig in much at all. Fits well over winter beanies and low profile enough that hoods fit over it without too much pull. I would recommend to anyone that doesn't have a huge head. If you do have a huge head, try it on in a store first before ordering. In fact I would recommend that no matter what.

The weight is low and it doesn't easily get out of control on single rope rappels with an ATC (still back it up with a prusik). I don't have excessive issues with it getting tangled which is awesome (unless I don't wrap it up well). I wouldn't suggest a ton of falls on it because it is a smaller diameter rope but for multi pitch ice and mixed routes where expected falling shouldn't be included, it is a great rope. Overall no complaints.

My favorite carabiner. Larger than I thought it would be but extremely light weight, which were both pluses for me. Only complaint and reason for 4 stars is that when its cold and wet (around 30 degrees) the gate will stick open sometimes. This happened when I was ice climbing and only during one route (thus far). This isn't a big problem because it's meant to be locked when in use. I could however see it coming off a harness loop if not careful.
