Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Works great, easy to attach and sturdy enough to not break. I use this on my commuter bike. It kinda easily gets shifting to the sides if you move it though, which might make it rub on your wheel - in which was you just have to readjust it. another thing I found that helps this is to attach it pretty high on the seat.

I got this watch after reading everything there was to read about multisport watches. My Gearhead, Grant, pointed out the DC Rainmaker review which probably the most helpful thing on the internet. I use it running/biking/skiing/swimming. I got the sapphire edition bc it was the one that looks the most like a normal watch - hence, easy to wear every day and with any outfit.

the pants themselves felt great, amazing quality, good value, all that good stuff. but the fit was off - tight in the thighs and had a short rise (waist to crotch), to the point that it made me uncomfortable. might work for you if you're very thin.

If you don't know what kind of medium down jacket to get, just get this. Fit is consistent, right amount of warmth, can be layered with shells for bad weather, and looks nice enough to wear regularly even when not doing activities.

I have the marmot tour pants, which I use often and love, and so I thought I'd get another pair or Marmot pants. Despite these being the same size (30), they were skin tight and particularly tight in the thighs (keep in mind that I have had a really hard time finding pants that fit my quads that aren't too loose in the waist).

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I tried a few backpacks prior to a trip down to Patagonia. My Gearhead, Patrick K, helped me pick out a few different backpacks in this size. I ended up narrowing it down to the Arcteryx Alpha FL45 and this and ended up going with the North Face. The bag is really quite light for the amount of support and padding it has which leads me to the best part - the comfort of this bag is amazing, it is nice and adjustable and I was able to wear it very comfortably.

I wish it came with a rain cover though.

These fit true to size, I'm a 9.5 in almost all shoes, and these fit me just fine. I've hiked many miles in these boots, mostly fall and winter hikes and found them to be built very tough. They are pretty rigid (but fully rigid) which is great because they end up taking the beating instead of my feet, but after a couple of days hiking my feet did hurt. Great waterproofing, I've walked through water without any problems. Would definitely recommend these boots.
