Familiarity: I've used it several times

Lightweight, easy to clip, and by far the most durable biner/draw on the market. Barely noticeable weight difference and seriously more durable!

In addition to the fact that the steel plates won't wear down or groove out like other aluminum biners, they keep your rope cleaner too! A good deal of what makes your rope get dirty over time, (and what turns your hands black after a belay )is the anodized coating wearing off as the rope moves through. This doesn't happen with the steel plate. I've noticed that my rope doesn't get dirty nearly as quickly since I've been using these while sport climbing.

Seriously, this is yet another genius engineering innovation from Edelrid. Can't believe how light they are and how long they have lasted!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are the lightest draws I've ever used. Great for an addition to your alpine rack. Even though the biners are super small, they are remarkably easy to clip. Both to a piece/bolt and to clip the rope. I do agree that these are a bit more difficult to clip with gloves on while ice or mixed climbing, but for any alpine rock adventure, I won't ever carry anything else! So light its like you didn't even bring draws! It seriously is mind blowing how light these are...

Absolutely LOVE this helmet! I've worn many helmets in my day, both molded plastic and foam, and this is by far the best fitting and most durable lightweight helmet I've used. I've broken many petzl and BD foam helmets, sometimes from just packing it into my pack wrong. This helmet has lasted me dozens of expeditions from desert crags to alpine and ice routes to big walls in Patagonia. Never have issues with my hair in a "Man Bun" or when adding a hat or beanie underneath. Its easy to attach a headlamp and it always stays put. Basically, you should see for yourself why this is such a great helmet!

I love the auto double back! Nice that its only on one side as well. VERY lightweight in comparison to my old Petzl Corax. I like the different shape of the molded gearloops. I also like the haul loop on the back, makes trailing a rope 10 times easier. All in all, This is a great harness!

These place very well and are lighter than some other stoppers on the market. I like that they are anodized so you can grab the right nut quicker if you're in a pinch.
