This is my first set of the Speedplay version of Sidi so I am looking forward to giving them a try.

I am a bit disappointed in the fact that the description says these have vented soles which is not the case. That said, my plan is to keep them I believe the lower stack height and (minor) weight saving is more important then the vents. I am also unsure how well they would worked with the thicker intersoles but it is disappointing as this was on my wish list to try.

I'm a stocky but fairly in shape guy and it does fit pretty racey. I agree with the other reviewer that it would not hide a big belly very well.
I have worn it in lower 40's with a base layer and was a bit chilly to start but quickly warmed up as I got going. Much past 55 degrees I need to lose the base layer and still can get warm. After 60 degrees it starts getting a bit toasty. Overall, I am happy and like the zipper vents.
I would probably not do the orange accents if I bought it again. When I see myself in ride photos I'm not a fan. That said it does match my bike and I may be overly critical.

These roll fast and cut through the air. The 240 hubs are smooth and wheels smooth out some of the bumps. I have yet to be bothered by side winds. In fact, most of the time I am surprised how well I am moving.

They do have more flex then my last part so I leave the break pads a bit more open. It's not horrible but at 215pounds under power some flex is expected. I also wish they were able to be set up tubeless.

Overall, given the great sale(50%) I am happy so far.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These have been great so far. The are light, help with vibration, and stiff. I did cut them down a bit as the original length is a bit much. I still need to be conscious not to hit a cactus or branch compared to my previous bars. That said, the width does give better leverage when steering so the trade off is worth it.

The Grease is very light so I have been using it for cable lines other things.
I originally got it for my I9 Hydras before the wheels arrived because I was worried about the noise. It turns out the Hydra's are really that loud so I haven't used the grease for that purpose yet. Once they break-in a bit I'll see if it helps.

I really like shape of these as the fit my grip much better so I don't need to squeeze as hard as I did with my old ones. My friend had some Specialized that were also good.

These hubs are really smooth on their own but pairing them with an Absolute Black Oval Chainring they are super smooth!! I think it's the quick engagement with Oval that makes them shine.
The sound isn't bad, when going downhill fast I feel like I have an engine humming behind me. I have had people ask me why it sounds different.
Even without the oval chainring you will be happy with them!

I put on the colored value stems to finish off my build.

Plus, the price is reasonable compared to the carbon versions. Enjoy!

There seem to be some quality control issues with these. They seemed good for the cost right up to the point they didnt work. Luckily when the crank started to spin out we had only been climbing so I could basically coast back 4-miles to the car.

While this was an inconvenience Competitive Cyclist is working with me to make it right. I opted to spend more for a better known brand.
