Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
As far as the function of this jacket goes, it performs as expected. I wear this over a lightweight base layer on high alpine terrain when it is sunny and blustery to knock the chill out of the wind. It performs best during high output activities, and breathes really well. It packs crazy small and has become a go to item that I stash in the top of my pack for when the wind kicks up.
My main issue with this jacket is that the fabric pit vents soaks up the stench that is associated with those high output activities and the jacket tends to reek.
As far as the fit is concerned, the small fits well and I am 5'8" 160 lbs. If you are looking for a super packable, highly breathable windbreaker, you won't be disappointed with this jacket.
