This was part of a gift and here are their remarks: First, I just love the style and comfort of the jacket!! Waterproof enough for PNW riding, while staying warm with no issues. I enjoy the extra technical aspects of the jacket and all the pockets. Mine did not come with a removable hood as advertised in the details.

This was part of a gift and here are their remarks: Seriously solid binding for all types of riding. With the flex they have it makes riding so smooth and fun which fits my prefered surf style of riding while still performing well in the park. I really enjoyed the extra customization of the footpads to expand for longer feet and the extra support.

This was part of a gift and here are their remarks: Honestly just a great all around base layer for many different types of activities. Warm, fits great, and the loops around the sleeve are great when gearing up!

This was part of a christmas gift and here are their remarks: I've been using this board all season which I picked specifically for the wider board at a mens US boot size of 12. The all mountain aspect was great, and the edges are extremely responsive to carving at speed which allow for a solid flow style of riding and still responds well in the park. Overall a fantastic board to have in the arsenal!

This was part of a christmas gift and here are their remarks: I was looking for a boot that would fit an all mountain riding style, from pow days to park and this boot fit the mold really well. Although they are a bit more flexible than I expected, the additional BOA, lace, and strap allow for different flex levels for different types of riding.

These boots impressed them from the first time they put them on with how lightweight they were! They were also quite sturdy as they were used around camp, on a few hikes, and one backpacking trip.

So far the shoes are great. I bought these alongside the Evolv Shakra and found the other reviews to be true. I had to size up a full shoe size in both. The biggest problem I have had in sizing shoes is the toe box. There's no way you could classify my foot as "high volume", but any shoes that fit my toes would leave dead space in the arch. Not sure how they managed it, but Evolv found a way to fit both.

Believe the reviews, these guys run small. I never had to size up in a climbing shoe before, but I'm glad I gave it a chance.

This is my first shoe with a more aggressive profile. Even though I had to go up a full shoe size, these are the best fitting shoes I have ever worn. I have lower volume feet but larger toes that have been hard to fit in women's shoes. The knuckle box has made all the difference. No hotspots, no dead space. They still feel a bit aggressive, but not so much I'm dying to get out of them while I suss out a problem.

I gave this as a gift for a friend just getting started with the outdoors. She will probably nee to upgrade if she gets serious about backpacking, but for now this bag is perfect. Marmot is a great brand, too so I had no qualms about giving a bag I hadn't used myself. She was very happy and ready to hit the woods!

For starters, I do agree with the other reviews knocking the functionality. It is not as mature as the Ambit series and while I was initially excited about the smart watch features, I have found them pretty unnecessary. I'm not entirely sure it has anything I couldn't get from the Ambit series, but that speaks more about my lifestyle rather than the watch.

Which I LOVE.

I love to train hard but often burn out because I'm a dummy about tracking my data. This watch keeps up with just about anything I might get up to. The running 24/7 calorie/step counter is great and so is the recovery tracker. Even on rest days I can wear the watch and get an estimate of my effort for the day. In addition to that, having a customizable training plan on the watch makes sure I can't avoid working towards my goals.

I have yet to get it out hiking so I can't speak to the GPS/altimeter features at this time. They track really well during a run around town, but I'll be curious to see if that holds up in the great outdoors.

Overall it is easy to use, the size is great and it is clear it was developed to make sure anyone can have their needs met regardless of the activity. I'm excited to see it improve as Suunto rolls out updates.

Fit: Runs small

Didn't get much of a chance to test these out except in the backyard playing with my dogs. Either way, I was super warm. I tend to run cold so that is saying something.

I will suggest sizing up. I normally wear a size 8 so I got an 8.5. Once they are on they fit great. The ankle region doesn't stretch at all so it was a bit tough to get them on, even with the laces loosened.

Absolutely no complaints about the function, though. From dry to wet snow, there were no problems with wet feet, either. Can't wait until next winter!
