Used this pack on a month long backpacking trip through Europe. Carrying camping gear and everything else you could need for a trip through Europe. I wasn't ever able to carry it on as it was completely full. If it wasn't stuffed to the brim you might be able to sneak it on. If you don't want to check it, get the smallest version to be safe. One of my favorite features is the detachable lid. Great to use as a day pack or very fashionable over the should man bag. All the same its a fantastic feature that allows you to no have to pack in a separate bag. You will not regret getting this pack. Very happy that my personal gear head recommended it.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love this headlamp! The different lighting options at has are great! You can go super bright or dim it down so you are blinding anyone. My favorite feature is the red light so you aren't going to wake your tent mate if you need to find something in the night and can't see. I also love the rechargeable batteries. Great if you have a solar panel and don't want to take extra batteries with you.

Comfortable and bomber

Fit: True to size

These bad boys are awesome. I needed a pair of pants that I could wear in all sorts of terrain including while canyoneering in Utah, which if you've gone, you know it can DESTROY your clothes. I had a pair of Kavu pants that lasted for one canyon before they started getting holes. Not these! Not only can they take a beating but they are super comfortable and offer great flexibility and stretch. I would highly recommend these for anyone if you need a good hiking/outdoor pair of pants. Fit true to size as well.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm a big fan of this system! Lightweight which is nice and opposed to others where you have to stay near water this allows you a nice snug fit onto a Nalgene bottle to fill up and take with you. Fills very quickly, a typical Nalgene will fill in about a minute or less. The weighted tip in the water is nice as well, i've used some that don't have that and it made it a pain to try and fill as it wouldn't stay down in the water. Overall, highly recommend.

Good Morning.

Great backpacking tent! You can wake up to views like this! Really easy to set up, recommend setting it up before you are out in the wilderness as I struggled with the rain fly for the first time in the dark, completely my fault. Once you get the set up it is super easy. I got the two person and it fits me and my black lab perfectly. Pockets are great on the sides for storing a whatever you need. Vestibule has plenty of space for your pack or anything else you don't want in your tent. Highly recommend this tent, sets up pretty bomber as well.

Very sharp

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was worried this thing wouldn't be sharp out of the box... well it is. Almost cut myself! It' light weight and the groove to have the rope cutter is quite nice. Also having a belt clip is a definite plus! Sturdy, Light, great for backpacking.
