Bought these when recently on sale. Nice insulated stretch "softshell like" pant. Overall fit is good on me but with fairly low rise, could prefer a bit more especially in back. Paired with an Arcade belt. Skinned in these in frigid cold -9 degree over Rab Power Stretch Pro tights and was perfect as the inside and outside vents kept me dry on the up but the pants were comfortably warm on the down. The stretch fabric allows for great range of motion while still having trim fit. The gaiter cinch straps are a nice feature to keep deep snow from pushing up the gaiter off a boot. Onyx color a handsome gray with slight bluish tinge. After skiing the weekend wore for the drive home given I faced hiking through deep snow down my long driveway to access the plow truck and snowblower. The gaiter cinch was great and secure over street snow boots and these will be my go to snow blowing pants in cold weather as well as ski pants. Pricey, but very happy with these.

Received an XL in Shadow as a Christmas present from my kids. Guess I raised them right! The color shadow is much deeper gray than pictured, more like charcoal and works very well with the red alpha and zipper. Good pockets. Sizing was perfect in the body but agree the hood is not sized for long necks. I could wish for just a tad more neck length with the hood up but acceptable if not perfect fit. However the hood down makes a very good gaiter for me so overall a very handsome and useful jacket for high output activities in the cold.

Bought the Black XL, liked it so much also got the Blue. The ceramic "herringbone" weave adds visual interest as well as toughness to the fleece face and the interior is plush. Hood fits well and is proportioned well to serve as a gaiter up or down. Don"t find these get any stinkier than any other fleeces I own. Quality is good.

Either the size Large I ordered was mis-marked or the size chart is way off. I'm a 34 waist in a street pant but I couldn't even get these zipped around my thighs. Have ordered an XL to try. Received the XL and still can't fit into these even though the size chart suggests they should be huge on me. XL waist OK but thighs tight and couldn't get zipped over the top of my calfs. Ridiculous, I give up.

On cusp between L and XL sizes. Initially ordered XL in gray which is OK fit but maybe a tad looser than ideal for baselayer but can also wear it as a light ML over a thin baselayer. Liked it so much ordered in grey size L and caviar L which fit tight but OK and better for baselayer use. Found the Caviar material to be less soft than the grey and seemingly slightly larger vs the gray. Think the grey ones are fantastic but not as happy with the caviar as it is not as plush inside.

Bought this jacket on sale and glad I did. Initial impression is jacket is well made and a good value at the sale price. XL was good fit for me with room for layering under. I have large shoulders, 43-44 chest and 34-35 arms. Just want to point out that the Beluga color is more gray with a touch of green hue rather than the more green color as it appears on my monitor, but works for me. For a shell I like the mesh lining and all the pockets.

Well made and has been durable. Good pockets. Orion color a nice blue that harmonizes with my karma. Everything I wanted for a resort and side country shell. I am sized on the cusp of L vs XL generally but like most things Mammut I needed XL in this especially to allow for layers.

I like the hook & loop "safety" latch to prevent brush from ripping open the main hook & loop closure as I bought these to replace summer gaiters that were lost to the forest during a trek through heavy hobble brush. Worked well with my hiking boots to keep out dirt and debris. Appear to be well made.

Nice lightweight softshell for warmer weather when you need a long pant for some abrasion protection. Total freedom of movement. Have used summer bush whacking in the northeast and were perfect. Plan to also use on my property doing yard work when I need to cover up for tick protection. Bought a second pair. Also own the OR Prusik pant which are nice but intermediate thickness fabric.

Nice intermediate weight softshell pant. I like the security of zipper pockets. Trim fit but accommodated my middle aged physique. Paired with an Arcade belt. Also have OR Ferrosi pants which I like but these are a thicker material with a bit more texture giving them a more finished look especially with the gray highlight detail at the pockets.
