I am picky about the fit, functionality and look of insulation pieces and have been very pleased with the Eigerjoch. I got a M in "dawn" - bright purple. The color is fun and the fit is amazing - I have an athletic frame with broad shoulders and I can move easily in this jacket. At the same time, the shape is feminine and not "sleeping bag-like". I love the length, too, which is a little below my hips. The quality is high, with tougher-feeling outer fabric and lots of functional drawcords to keep the wind out. Though it's a light jacket, it's very warm for the weight. If you are in frigid temps, you will need to cover the Eigerjoch with a shell or a more substantial insulation layer. So far I have used the jacket as an insulation layer for outdoor activities and for travel (it's light and easy to pack). I am sure the Eigerjoch will accompany me on many future adventures, as an extra, easily packable layer while backcountry skiing, hiking and backpacking. It's also polished enough to wear around town.

I love this jacket - it's lightweight, breathable and vey functional! I have used it for fall running and hiking in a cold western mountain town. Each time I have been glad to have the hood, thumb holes, and windblocking panels. The fit is very slim. I wear a M in almost every other jacket but had to size up to a L for this one. The L is still fairly form fitting/flattering/shapely and has room for a thin layer or two under and enough room for full range of motion. I am athletic, 5'7", 140 lbs with broad shoulders.

This is a lightweight, packable coat that blocks the wind very nicely and won't weigh you down. The cut is flattering and the pink is super cute! I appreciate the adjustable hood and hem. My only complaint is that the stitching for the Velcro on the cuffs does not seem to be the most bomber but time will tell.

I bought this for my 11 year old son who needed a lightweight, warm and packable jacket for backpacking and general use. This fits the bill and, on sale, it was a great value. The L is a bit roomy but should fit him for a few years. The exterior fabric is lightweight but seems more bomber than others.

This is a cute lightweight sweater but it did not fit me well - I think I am between sizes (I tried the M and the L). It seems well made but the merino wasn't as soft as it could be and I wish it were a bit longer in length.

I LOVE this jacket. It's incredibly warm for its weight and compresses down to practically nothing in my pack or suitcase (however I was not able to pack the jacket into the chest pocket as advertised but maybe I didn't try hard enough!). The elastic sides and shoulder panels allow for great freedom of movement. I also like the longer collar length to keep drafts out. I bought the M which is a shaped, flattering and closer fit but does not allow for a lot of layering underneath, which is fine for the purposes that I will use the coat. The pink bright but not too bright and is a nice change from my normal black.

I used this every day on a trip to Iceland where a dip in the local hot springs pool is a must. The towel packs well and dried me off quickly after swimming. I bought a small which was perfect for a lightweight, easily packable towel in my carry-on (note that the small does not provide much coverage, which was not a concern for me).

This is a pricey coat but it delivers. It's very high quality, great fitting, and has all the right features of a nice ski shell - pit zips, nice big outer pockets for skins, useful inner pockets, a storm hood, and powder skirt that attaches to Arc ski pants. It's pretty light considering that the material feels super bomber and sheds rain like Goretex should. I highly recommend this coat!

This jacket is thin, lightweight and very comfortable. The fit is spot and I appreciate the dropped hem and slightly longer length. I have used it under ski shells and as an outer layer for skinning in the backcountry and found it to be great. I expect I will also use it lots for trail runs, hikes and other warmer weather pursuits.

I bought this coat for backcountry skiing and like the pitzip features, longer length and lighter weight while still being waterproof. I ended up returning the jacket because the pockets just didn't work for my skins as they were too small. The amount of adjustments for a great fit in the coat were very nice and it's a very high quality product. Just not for me.

I was looking for a lightweight and waterproof pair of ski pants that would work for warmer days at the resort and backcountry ski days. I have used the pants for both now and love them! The fit is spot on. I am 5'7", 140 lbs, with an athletic build (i.e. muscular thighs and butt). The pants fit great and are even flattering, with a nice shape and hang - they are not form-fitting, nor are they overly "freeridey". They are also long enough for my 32" inseam. The venting option is awesome for heat producing skins and I appreciate the being able to fine-tune the waist size with the inner belt. I also love the option of attaching the pants to my Arc ski coat snowskirt. I wore them in a wet snow/rainstorm and stayed dry without issue. The only thing that I would add is a smaller change pocket but that is no deal breaker. Yes, these are pricey pants (by far the most I have ever paid for a pair of ski pants) but they are very high quality and I expect that I will have them for year. I got the black but somewhat regret not getting the fun pink color.

I have a Giro helmet that I love that I need to replace but this one did not do the trick. The fit was off for me and it made me look like a huge bubble head. It is light, though, and has some nice features.

I bought this jacket for backcountry and Nordic skiing and have used it for both. It is awesome!! It weighs next to nothing and really does breathe while keeping me warm. I used it recently skate ski on a day when heavy, wet snow was flying and, though I got pretty wet, I stayed warm. The hood has also come in handy on cold, windy descents. The fit is nice - fitted but not so much that I can't get a few layers on underneath.

I have skied lift service a handful of times in the jacket and have found it to be great so far. The Freeskier is much lighter than many other insulated coats out there, which I appreciate, but still plenty warm for me. The insulation is just right for me to wear a few thin layers underneath on most days. On really cold days (around zero) I just add a really light down vest on top of those layers and I am good to go. I tested out the hood last weekend on a stormy day and it fit fine over my helmet and provide the extra protection I needed. Unlike a previous poster, I find the zipper to be adequate and the shape, while a little boxy, is functional for skiing. My only gripe is that there is no Driclime/fleecy chin guard on the Freeskier. I would recommend this coat!
