Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs small
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 190 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

The jacket itself is plenty warm and the pockets are laid out perfectly. However, the fit is awful. I ordered a Large, like all of my other jackets, and the shoulders are so tight with a tshirt on that I feel like I could bust the seams. I couldn't imagine wearing this with a heavy fleece underneath. One other poor feature is that the giant hood doesn't have and adjustments!?!?! Pretty insane that you're buying a $400 coat and you're left with this massive hood to flap around and blow off your head in the wind. Because of these reasons I would suggest you look elsewhere for a winter parka. This one is going back.

I absolutely love this chair! It is really comfortable and durable. I have taken this chair on many backpacking , camping, and canoeing outings and it is holding up perfectly. I would highly recommend this chair to anyone who is interested. If you are taller you will be sitting low to the ground, but one of the other Helinox chairs that sits a littler higher might be a good option for you. The best part is that they make it in Multicam (the best camo pattern ever made).

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

All things considered this is a really good tent. I always had a 2 person tent previously and wanted to get some extra room for when 2 people are in the tent, and this tent provides plenty of room for two people. I always go by the rule that if a tent says it's made for 2 people, it's most likely a 1 person tent. I haven't had this through any harsh rain, but in my first use I can't see why it wouldn't hold up in those conditions. My only negative about this tent are the poles, and that's why it lost 2 stars for the review. The head room that the pre-bent poles provide is nice, but I will give up the head room for more compact poles when packing up. I can pack up the tent, rain fly, and foot print in a medium size compression sack, but the poles are so long that they will not fit or you need to keep them separate from the rest of the tent setup. If Marmot would redesign the poles for this tent to be more compact it would easily get 5 starts.

For now it looks like this tent will be designated to car camping, and my search for a new backpacking tent continues.

Like I said, all in all it's a good tent, it comes down to minor personal preferences that lost it some stars.

Let me start by saying that I first used this jacket for casual use in about 3 straight days of heavy rain, and it met my expectations. I haven't taken it out backpacking yet, but plan on doing so this spring. It's not the most technical jacket and I'm sure there are better jackets out there, but I doubt that you will find a better jacket at this price point. I have layered it with a fleece underneath and it works just fine. This jacket will suit my casual needs and being used on weekend backpacking trips.

This is by far the warmest fleece product that I own, and I own a lot of them. The material is really thick and heavy which is great in the winter. The fit is definitely more boxy/roomy than other Patagonia products. I normally wear a Large in most Patagonia products, but a Medium was recommended by Backcountry and I would be swimming in a Large. Overall it's a great product that will keep you warm throughout the winter.

I absolutely love this vest and it is by far the best vest I own. It's amazing how warm the vest is for being so lightweight, and I love the feature of being able to pack it into its own pocket. This makes is great when traveling and/or backpacking. I would definitely recommend this vest to anyone who is considering it.
