Does either the Patagonia down jacket or the Patagonia nano air run big? I am 6'3 250, i ordered the mountain hardwear nitrous in XXL and it swallowed me, so now I would rather pay more and get one of these two jackets. I wear an xxl in true slim fitting designs but I can wear xl sometimes when they run big. Please help

Fit: Runs large
Height: 6' 03"
Weight: 250 lbs
Size Purchased: XXL

I set out to get a certain look from my new down jacket and after I ignored my girlfriend's plea, I still pick this jacket (mtn. hardwear nitrous) in black. I was aware of the sizing concern before I got it but thought, I'm a bigger guy (6'3 250) so it will work for me. Nope! This jacket runs BIG!!! I went out last night and wore big 3 layers under it and it still didnt balance out the extra room. Its long and wide, usually It is me trying to stretch to fit into something I want, but mtn. hardwear obliviously has a reason for this particular jacket runs big and if there is some guy out there that is twice my size (NFL Offensive Lineman) heres your coat! Anyways, dont get me wrong this is a great coat and product from what I can tell, just not for me!

My review isnt for this product but for the lack of customer service that this company displayed. I have ordered from backcountry several times with good results but this time I was very displeased with how little they were concerned with my package getting to me when it was lost through this crappy mail service they use, Ontrac. I havent received any package yet, hopefully it will get here 7 days late. (I wouldnt have been so upset if they would have actually acted like they cared that my package was lost.)

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs small

These pants were ordered after I ordered a pair of mountain hardwear tpout pants that were stretchy and perfect. These were the closes thing in khaki. I believe these pants could be good, as I also ordered a pair of green north face traverse pants which don't get me started on. These ran small and I am not gonna go back and forth so I am ordering mountain hardwear topout. Save yourself some shipping if you order these order a size or two bigger. Oh backcountry has been awesome company to work with on returns, my business stays here, anywhere but liar and thief amazon.

these pants are not what I expected, I ordered a pair of mountain hardwear topout pants on here before and loved them. They didn't have them in green so I found these.. Almost the same material, but wow what a difference. These pants run small, I wear 38, so I ordered 40 know the history of the north face to run small. Well, they were very very small, the length is good but waist is bad. Also the stretch like the mountain hardwear topout's isn't close, topout's are such a better pair. They are awesome, not these.

It is a good jacket IF you leave it in your bag all the time and get caught out in rain and can throw it on, to salvage what u have on. IT IS COMPLETELY SEE THROUGH, WELL THE YELLOW WAS. Price point is too high to be a poncho, that's really what it is. A glorified poncho. Not for me.

It is a rain jacket that sticks to you if you wear short sleeves, but I was expecting that. I can't find a light weight rain jacket for Oregon weather that will work on comfort on my skin in July and August. If that makes since so overall pleased especially with the pants ordered with them
