These M3's Scree's have been my year round go to pant for about 6 years now. I think I have now bought 5 pair of them. I am 6 foot 8 with shoes on and 250 pounds all dressed. The 36 long fit me with no necessary tailoring. I honestly believe Marmot used my likeness to create the 36 longs. If you have a 36 inseam and a 36 inch waist then 36 longs will fit you. I wear them year round and probably don't even ever need a base layer if you live in an area that doesn't go below 0. (celsius)

Arcteryx

I used these pants for a wide range of events. Classy restaurant birthday celebration for my son's 13th, rappelling down the ravine in my backyard, playing rough stuff with my Rottweiler, fishing from the canoe on Kootenay Lake BC, and even just watching tv. I will kick it up a notch this winter and take these pants powder skiing at Whitewater Mountain Resort in Nelson BC. You name it, Arcteryx goes EVERYWHERE i take her with no complaints.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This item is my second of the Atoms. My first one is about 4 years old and is worn all year round, in and around the house. I am wearing it right now with nothing under it as I type. My new one is hanging in the closet and I won't wear it until my first one is worn to shreds. It may be a long time before my new one sees any action.

XXL will fit you if you are huge around the waist, chest and back. Make sure your arms are a bit short tho because the sleeve length is short. (disproportionate)

If you buy this in XXL, I hope you won't be reaching above your head. All the excess material this item possesses will ride up above your waist....and bind at your shoulder joint.

Not worth the money even on sale. I will be offering this item to anyone who wants this kind of fit at BINGO tonight.

The Cost:
So valuable to me that by the time I receive them, I 've paid double the price....and I am alright with it. ($CDN exchange, forwarding company delivery fee, customs duties) No problem. Worth every penny!

The Pants
Slim fit yet baggy, full stretch (I do flexibility and strength training at the gym with these.) Truly the lightest pant I have ever owned, breathable, versatile. 4 Season Pant with a base layer in a cold winter.

2nd pair just delivered.

This time my 36 Long are really long. Nice fit for a 6 '5, 6'6, 6'7, 6'8 dude. It'll fit and you have about an inch or so to take out if needed...

a 6 star rating, in my opinion

This item arrived a bit scuffed up on the front lapel area. :(

however,

For less than a dollar a day, this sweater will keep my son warm and looking great all winter long.

Columbia can't be beat when you want great stuff at a great price and you're not sure how long before they will grow out of it.

Small size:

fits my 10 year old, 149 cm tall, 39 kg son and may last more than 3 seasons. There is a bit of growing room in them and then they will stretch. The material seems to be awesome. I would buy them for myself next time not based on sizing but on quality for sure.
Quality

You can't go wrong with this quality. Its like a premium brand... without an ego inflated price.

Definitely will be looking at Backcountry products in the future..

XXL Longs will fit you if:

You are around 6 foot 8 - 10.
You have a waist size of at least 40 inches.
Your hips(buttocks) are extremely full
You don't mind having alot of puffery around your knees.

The pants are top quality and will be your go to pants if the above sounds like you.

My 6 foot 7 inch, 36 waist, 36 inseam was not enough to fit into the XXL longs... this time.
