Familiarity: I've used it several times

I tend to have cold hands, so I found these gloves alone were only good to about -5C to -8C for me. After that I added a thin glove liner underneath. Below -12C to -15C I had to add a over mitt for extra warmth and wind protection on the chair lifts nearing the summit. Skied 5 days at Big White over New Years, carrying my entire family of skies to ski school and didn't get any cuts on the palms at all. Great dexterity and water proof, fits well under my Norrona ski jacket sleeves. Love the wrist leashes as well. Sizing as per their charts is perfect, my 19cm long hands (wrist to 3rd finger tip) fit the medium perfectly.

Great shell ski pants

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

I skied 5 days in Big White, BC over New Years in -5C to -14C temps (and colder at the summits). Love the 2 huge front pockets, full length side zips to quick venting. On par with the fit from Arc'teryx pants (slightly looser, but not snowboarder loose). 3 options at the waist - included suspenders I found was too snug around the belly when I had multiple layers on. Also included is a zippered waist, or if you can use snaps on the powder skirt that comes with the Norrona jacket (my choice). I tend to run cold, so I had on underneath a pair of expedition weight baselayer pants (Terramar 3.0 body sensors alone) and found it a bit too cold on the chair lifts, so adding a cheap pair of Misty Mountain fleece pants that I cut off below the knees was just perfect for me.

Love my Norrona shell!

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

Skied 5 days in Big White, BC over New Years in some days between -5C to -14C. I'm slim build 5'10" 150 lbs and the small fit me just right, even with multiple layers. Very large pit zips for super quick venting. Well made zippers (no hand warmer pockets though), and comes with a goggle wipe plus tether in chest pocket. Large hood easily fits over a helmet is great for riding on the the cold windy ski lifts. Hand gaiters a bit stiff and cuts into the hands when I put on my snug Norrona Narvik Dr1 gloves. Inside pocket not big enough to fit an iphone 6. Snaps on perfectly to the Norrona ski pants with the removable snow skirt (also option to do zipable skirt that comes with pants). Hit and tree branch (low speed) and no damage at all to the jacket. Loving the colors, didn't see a single person with same jacket all week.
