Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs small
Size Purchased: 8.5

My feet are wide in the toe box area- I had bunion surgery at a young age- so I am always on the look out for wide shoes that allow my toes to splay naturally when walking. These boots are perfect for wide feet! I do wish they were a bit narrower in the heel, but a thick sock and good lacing does wonders. I am considering putting in a heel cup for longer hikes. I have never had a blister from wearing these shoes, even right out of the box.

Since they are waterproof, they do run warm, and I am considering getting the Voyageurs for warmer weather hiking. I have them in the black olive/ slate rose color, which is just the right color for me- brown hides hiking dust, and light pink laces add a touch of femininity.

I did size up from my usual 8 to an 8.5.

Fit: True to size

I have these in both the ivy and the khaki, and find myself wearing them more than any other bottoms in my closet.

I have larger hips, thighs, and bottom, with a slimmer waist, and have so much trouble finding pants that fit both my waist and my hips. These are generously cut in the legs and tighter in the waist, so if you have a slim build, these may not work for you.

They are also perfect for more petite women - I'm 5'3 - and the length is perfect with hiking boots on. With lower profile sneakers or sandals, I just cuff the bottom and have no problem.

These pants are super comfortable, wear well, are easy to clean, and are relatively neutral looking. At first, I was put off by the big buttons on the front pockets, but they are pretty unobtrusive in person. I use them for hiking, travel, and normal every day wear.

I should mention that I have them in two sizes (6 and 8), and prefer the smaller size, as they tend to stretch out over the course of the day. They are definitely relaxed fit, and allow for a large range of movement.

It's hard to tell from the photos, but the sleeves are ribbed, and so are a few of the panels that make up the different draped sections. This is nice because it means that it stretches especially well without looking like spandex work-out gear, yet is still comfortably fitted throughout the arms, making a nice contrast to the rest of the loose fit. In this way, it appears a bit more put together than your average slouchy yoga-style top.

The two looks- front and back- are nice for when you want to show a little more backside and décolletage, or you have the option to reverse it to the back, and show some hip/midriff, OR pair with some mid to high-rise bottoms, and be all covered up.

It works with a variety of different bottoms and layers well. Incredibly soft, and I like that is made with bamboo- a more sustainable fabric. The thumb holes are also a cozy touch.

It did leave behind some black fuzz on my first wearing, but I am hoping this will pass after a few washings.

I was absolutely sold on this coat when I first tried it on, but ultimately decided to return the Hoodlamb Parka. It is super warm, soft, and filled with lovely features. The many pockets are well thought out, and the faux fur is luxuriously soft and cozy. I was looking for a stylish, yet practical coat that is made from sustainable materials, like this hemp/organic cotton blend. The cut of the parka is flattering, and it keeps your bottom warm without being too bulky. The sleeves are slightly long on me, but I can deal with that. What I decided I couldn't deal with was the zipper! It is a sturdy, thick zipper, BUT the flap that separates the zipper from your inner layers and from your tender skin only goes up to the neck, while the zipper itself goes up a good 4 inches further. This means that the cold, delicate skin of your chin that you are longing to tuck into your cozy jacket has to snug up to a burning cold zipper and risk being zipped into the jacket if you zip the coat up completely. I drew blood when I zipped it up unawares! A flaw in an otherwise flawlessly designed coat- the search for the perfect winter coat continues!

I was impressed by the design of this shirt- the ventilated side panels right where you need 'em, the thumb holes, and the comfortable performance fabric, all wrapped up in a pretty lovely patterned package. However, the fit was strange on my body. I am 5'3, long torso, about 140 lb, larger chest, wide hips, with a smaller waist, and I usually wear a M across the board. The medium was extremely loose through the waist and hips, yet constricting in the bust area- with a sports bra on underneath. It was like a babydoll fit gone a bit wonky. I wish that it nipped in a bit more at the waist, as it is a really lovely and well-thought out design, aside from my personal fit issue. If you are a B cup or smaller, it will probably look smashing! I am giving it a go with different bras and layering pieces underneath.
