I've used these boots for touring and riding the resort - both cruising the groomers and sampling some epic Canadian powder - and I've been very happy to have them in all those situations.
In terms of fit, I usually wear a 6.5 and went with the 22.5, which was the right length and felt snug around the ankle, though not unbearable in any way. I could have just worn them out of the box and broken in the liner myself, but I decided to have the liners heat molded to my feet - which made these hands down the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. My feet feel supported, my toes stay warm, and I get to stay out on the hill all day.
I haven't had any trouble with the walk/ski switch, but I have been warned that it can break if the boots are slammed on their backs, so I would try to avoid throwing these too vigorously into the trunk at the end of a long day.
