If you are on the endless search to find the perfect pair of pants that combines durability, style, and fit you can stop your search here. These are the perfect middle of the road, every day pant. They are super comfortable and durable, and with the price there is no reason at all not to own one or more pairs of these. That said, if you are looking for a truly rugged work pant that you can kneel in the dirt everyday with or lie under a car with go for the double front canvas Carhartts.

A note on the cut - these are the "relaxed fit" which is actually narrower in the thigh and with a straight let from the knee down compared to Carhartt's "original fit".

I've been using this bag for 7 years now and it is still going strong. The vast majority of my use has been in Western states between March and November and I have rarely been cold. I am 6' 4" and have the long, and when completely zipped up I don't have the most room to move around but that's just part of sleeping in a mummy bag. Most nights I leave it half unzipped and use a travel sheet/bag liner and am toasty.
Great investment.

I've been using the jacket the past few years in the north east and I have never been disappointed. It might not be the warmest or the lightest, but for the price I don't think it can be beat. I've used it primarily as a everyday jacket, and also skiing and climbing a few times. I've worn it in temps down to around -10/-15 F and still been fairly comfortable, but the vast majority of my use has been in the teens and 20s. It is perfect for that. I would not recommend skiing in this or any jacket like it unless it is SUPER cold. I did it for a weekend and sweated through my base layer after a few runs. The huge pockets are pretty sweet, I can fit a whole 1.5 L Nalgene in them, and the internal mesh pocket is nice for a hat and gloves. If you're looking for a warm jacket for day to day use and don't feel like spending $500-$1000, this is the jacket for you. I am 6'4" and the large goes to around the top of the thighs, not what you could call a parka.

My go to swim, climb, hang out, and adventure shorts. I think the material has a lil smoother face than the reg baggies and these have no back pocket. My shorts still look relatively new after a few years of use. The fit is great, not too roomy, but still allows a lot of movement. With these and a pair of bomber canvas shorts you'd be set for life. I don't anticipate having to replace these anytime soon. Really amazed I don't have any fraying seams or tears after 3 or 4 years of use.
