Fit: Runs large
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 170 lbs
Size Purchased: 8.5

Overall
Really a solid boot. These things feel really well-made, and I expect this one pair to last me quite a long time. For a boot I expect to last a hundred miles on the trail I'd say the price is very reasonable. They come with a couple sets of laces as well, so they got you covered there too.

Value
Really a great boot for the price. There are some more stylish looking boots (thinking of Danner specifically) but they are priced significantly higher than these boots. I expect these to last me a couple years of moderate to heavy use, and for $165 that is a deal.

Build Quality
Great quality. Very well stitched together. Good lace loops. Very thick sole and nice material choices all around. I can't think of anything in the build that has me worried at all.

Comfort
These do need some time to break them in, and I definitely would suggest you don't take them on a trail until you've worn them around the office/home/school for a few days. Part of the issue is that they are stiff by design and need some time to mold to your foot. The other issue is that it took me a couple days to notice where some sore spots developed (on the top of my foot) and how to adjust them appropriately so as not to lose the support they provide. Once they were broken in they felt very comfortable.

Bought these as a house warming gift for some friends and they are all about them. Went on to tell me about the company history (founded by the guy who wrote Born to Run IIRC) and how these things are basically god's gift to sandal clad feet. Apparently really comfortable and well-made.

Value
Really to me this is a value based purchase. The tent is really reasonably priced, and for some car camping it'll do you great. I had to pick one up in a pinch when I couldn't find my other tent and took this down to southern Utah. The tent did great. Nice and cool at night, though it got good and hot in the afternoon and made for a real sweaty nap.

Quality
I've only used this for a couple nights now. It seems like a decent tent in terms of build quality and nothing seemed to stand out that had me worried. It's very simple to set up and take down.

Comfort
Nice and cool at night so sleeping is easy. Not much else to say there.

These fit great and they are reasonably priced. When you consider it's $5-$10 to rent a pair of kids climbing shoes these make a lot of sense to buy. Not to mention once your kid has used them a few times they get more comfortable and better molded to their feet.

Overall
Hestra's kid gloves are great. They are warm, they fit well, and they are comfy. If you're taking a child up on the mountain then you should really consider buying these gloves

Value
Few things make my kiddo want to leave the mountain as much as cold hands. These gloves have been great in keeping her warm and complaint free (at least when it comes to the cold).

Quality
Well built and durable. Hestra makes quality kids ski clothing.

Comfort
Very comfortable according to what I've seen from my daughter. She's pretty picky when it comes to clothes (if anything scratches I'll never hear the end of it) and I've never heard her complain once about these gloves.

Overall
For $20 you can't go wrong. This little gator will keep your kid nice and warm during cold days in the snow. A must for any Jan and Feb days at Utah resorts.

Value
$20 is maybe a bit more than I'd like to spend on a strip of polar fleece stitched into a loop, but honestly given how long this little gator will last it's fine. My daughter should get several years use.

Comfort
Very soft and very warm. I've yet to hear a complaint about being cold or itchy when putting this on my kid.

Quality
Good build quality. The stitching is nice and strong and the material hasn't pilled up at all yet.

For $50-$60 this harness is great. It's not super fancy, but it gets the job done, and it's comfortable. I use this primarily for sport climbing in a gym, and I don't really need much else. Bought a few of these as gifts for friends and family and they love them too.

Bought some 32s. They feel a bit more like 30-31 in the waist. More motivation to shed a few pounds and be lighter on the wall anyway I guess.
The shorts are great. Khul makes great climbing shorts and the quality is top notch. They're durable and have a bunch of button and zipper pockets to keep keys and wallets and phones from falling out.
Maybe buy a size up and. You'll be happy with them once you get the right size.

Nice light bindings and easy to get in and out of. I ski powder on these and they feel great. I haven't had any issues with getting in or out of the bindings.

I haven't taken a bad enough fall on them to say if there are any valid concerns with them turning instead of my knee, but having had these same style bindings from Look in the past I'm not worried about it. These things will twist before your knee does.

they are pretty light as well. Coming from an integrated marker binding setup on my old K2 Recons these things feel incredibly light.

They're expensive, and they are worth it. I'm happy to pay for a good quality binding that keeps me in when I need it and let's me go when holding on will result in a pricey ER visit :).

Quality
No question these are a well-built boot. They are as solid as a zombie apocalypse bunker. When they say flex 130, they aren't joking. This is a stiff boot. But it holds like it should. The grip sole on the bottom is great when walking on ice or packing up to a nice little drop. Buckles are pretty standard but definitely of sound quality. Liner is smooth and supple, helpful in wrenching these Iron Man stiff boots off your feet.

Durability
Taking the obvious stiffness out of the equation, this seems to be a rock-solid boot. The liner is plush but well-crafted, I don't see that wearing out any time soon. I would argue these are build more with durability in mind than comfort, seeing as it is a race-quality boot. The foot pads may wear more quickly than your average boot due to the softness the rubber, but they are replaceable.

Value
This is a high-quality boot that performs its function well. Being arguably the most important part of your whole setup, they will keep you in place like they are supposed to. The one thing they are not is cheap, so some might argue that they are not a value buy. While that may be true, these are a boot that means business and is made well so they are worth the money.
