I got to try these, and have used them for many days out snowboarding. If you want simple, high quality minimalist bibs without a lot of bells and whistles, then this is the one for you! I was impressed with the material quality - the Gore-tex wicked water droplets right off, and stayed totally dry in early season pow!
I am tall (5'10), and it is hard to find bibs that don't ride up the crotch. Unfortunately these were not quite long enough to be perfect, but still did the job.
I found the long zipper in front a little bit awkward looking, but that's just personal preference. I didn't love the straps - very minimalist here, not even something to keep the cross in the back attached, and they did sometimes fall off my shoulders unfortunately, though I did need the straps looser than normal to accomodate for my height.
Overall, a good quality bib - the superior craftsmanship of Arc'teryx is here, but just not quite the bibs for me.

I love this headlamp - it's a shining (ha, see what I did there?) example of the best of Petzl's lighting products - versatile, easy to use, and most importantly, powerful. I've used it on a bikepacking trip, and it didn't fail me when I really needed my headlamp to do the job when it was my only lighting source while on a trail on my bike. The battery seems to last long (I didn't have issues powering it on the highest settings on my trip), and the headlamp is super user friendly. The strap is sturdy, yet flexible and strong, easy to adjust. What else do you need in a headlamp, really?

I took this bag bikepacking and it was exactly what I wanted - packable, extremely light, and most importantly, warm. It packs down extremely small (just gotta work it into the smaller stuff sack, starting with the wider part) - not much bigger than a Nalgene bottle, and very light (just over a pound!)
Just make sure to add ten degrees to the rated temperature - that's closer to the comfort level of the bag. For instance, this bag would actually be best in 35 degrees as the coldest temperature, otherwise it would be a tad chilly!
A care suggestion, especially for an extremely light down bag like this, would be to keep it unpacked as much as possible. Once you get to camp, unfold this baby so it has time to decompress otherwise it's really wrinkly and lacks volume, which decreases insulation.
Can't think of any cons to this bag - the zipper worked great, the mummy design fit me comfortably, and basically the bag performed as expected. Super satisfied!

I love these. I don't think about them. Which is perfect because what I want out of clothes for the outdoors is feeling so comfortable in them, I forget about them! Smooth, super water resistant material, but soft and conforms to body comfortably. These are so great, at first i borrowed them from work, then had to order them myself!

These pants are DOPE

I got the chance to try these, and had to have them. I'm not just saying that! I seriously never wanted to give them back. What can I say that 30+ great reviews haven't?
First of all, as a taller woman with wider hips, finding adequate pants is a challenge on its own. These fit beautifully and so comfortably!
I was impressed with the quality and the material - it seems super durable and strong. I first took them on a long alpine hike to bag a tall peak, glissaded in the snow on my butt, and scrambled on rock on my butt, and they showed no signs of wear and tear. Any water I got on them beaded off beautifully.
Most importantly, they let me move and do my thing! I climb, lunge, high step, run, walk, and scramble in them with ease of movement. I don't think about the pants at all, which is what I want. They make great rock climbing pants too. The side pocket is sleek, yet functional with a zipped up pocket, and there is also an internal lace system to cinch them up.
All in all, the best pants I ever had for active wear!

Impressively Ultralight, Cool Features

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got a chance to try this jacket, and take it on a long alpine hike with glissading and rock scrambling. I have never held a lighter piece of clothing in my life. Seriously, it's so light, you can see your clothes through it! But that doesn't mean it doesn't function as an awesome rain jacket (and a great sun jacket too!) Features: large hood, nice cinchy sleeves, two zipped up side pockets,
I wore it while hiking up a long snow hill and the ventilation in the pits (a bunch of tiny holes) worked great - I didn't feel the need to take it off with exterted effort. I was super glad to have it as sun and wind protection - it did a good job with both. No actual rain experience in it, but I threw some water on and it beaded beautifully.
The only downsides I would say are price (ultra-lightweight, waterproof and featured don't come cheap!) and the fragility of the fabric (definitely don't take this guy on your off-width climbing project!)

Amazing, Well Thought Out & Innovative
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is an amazing bag, and I was very impressed with its versatility, quality (seems durable), comfort and functionalities.
It's like the Russian nesting doll of backpacks. First off, the first one has two modes: you can carry it comfortably like a brief case, with a nice thick solid handle on the side. Or you can unzip the backside, and hip straps and chest straps pop out like a traditional backpack! Smooth transitions, no wonky zippers and a nifty transformer like effect! Very cool and well thought out.
If you unzip the main large compartment (which lays flat giving you access to your whole bag at once), you will see a smaller day pack. How cool and streamlined, with the obvious function being a nice carry on for your flight and day tripping around town during your travels. Guys this is SO cool! With a decent amount of stuff in the large compartment, I can still add this day pack with some items in as well.
If I had to pick one improvement at all, it would simply be to add more segregated smaller pockets to the big main bag. The small day pack has quite a few pockets including a large flat one against the back on the inside, perfect for papers and books and other flatter items, along with a top small compartment, and a main larger compartment. The main bag however really just has one large inside pocket in addition to the main space, which works well enough but I found that if I packed it up with toiletries, things went flying around and had to be fished for (I guess this is where it helps to have those packing cubes for smaller items!)
Aside from that small critique, I have nothing poor to say about this bag at all. I fell in love! Love the simplicity and awesome, streamlined yet minimalist functionality. Go Osprey!

Hand Out rocks! I didn't know how much I needed a zipper until I tried these, and I'm not ever going back to regular ol' mittens. The zipper has had 0 issues, opens and closes smoothly and quickly when I need it to, and is completely waterproof. Well done!
Need to pull your hand out to grab your phone? To go backcountry touring? To dump heat on a warmer day? No problem. Adjust the cuff tightness? Easy!
This is a relatively newer brand I think so I'd like to see female-specific cuts with a little less bulk, but I'm still forever stoked on this series. Go Hand Out!
Tip: size up a bit. A little extra room is nice for flipping these bad boys open, and a bit of extra room acts as extra insulation against the cold! 10/10
The material feels super high quality and durable too, and most importantly, they keep my tips warm!

I love HandOut! Best thing since sliced bread, honestly. I can no longer function without a zipper in my gloves, and the zipper feature is just the start. They are durable, well-made, light-weight and water resistant. Easy to slip your hand in and out (I recommend sizing up to have a little bit of extra room to make this even easier). I like to use these as lightweight spring gloves when the temps are above freezing, otherwise I've got my Handout Pros! Way to go Hand Out!

These are sweet poles! I had no issues with them, as I'm re-learning to ski. Super lightweight, and felt strong and durable.
The only thing is, I would size down next time. I am a bit over 5'10, got the 135cm. Next time as a beginner I would prefer slightly shorter poles, at 130cm.
Luckily I didn't have to test out the quick release feature, but it's a good peace of mind to know that it exists! Ski tech has come a long way since I skiied as a kid, and these are no exception!

Sweet, Well-Made Bindings
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I loved these! These are super responsive especially for freestyle bindings, really easy to adjust, and light-weight - they hit all my criteria for great snowboard bindings!
The main strap felt extremely secure, and cinched tightly, conforming well to my boot while also being comfortable (read: not cutting off circulation!) The toe strap also had a bendy nature to it. A little bit of extra material sticking out, but just a small gripe. (I wear a men's size 10 boot, and went with the Mediums).
The bindings themselves are light, powerful and strong. I find the width to be a bit much, but I'm a minimalist by nature and this wouldn't bother most.
It was also my first time using the EST channel system. I like that these bindings come in a mini-base plate - it's supposed to eliminate dead space that way!
The high backs are high quality, and pretty stiff. I didn't notice them while riding - a big plus. (Sometimes stiff high backs give my calfs cramps). Adjustable ankle straps.
Overall, sweet bindings. No big complaints!

Re-learning to ski (I switched to snowboarding in my teens) as an adult, and got to try these bad boys. My first thoughts were that ski boots were not that bad - I found these really light and surprisingly comfortable! There is a "Walk Mode" function that makes walking in these even cinchier, and it's intuitive to flip on and off between Walk and Ski modes.
Getting them on is really easy as well - not at all like the ski boots of yesterday. They have this cool multi-layer system that makes slipping your foot in and progressively tightening the fit with the 4 buckles really smooth. (I love the poppy colors of the neon yellow buckles!) The high quality and light-weightedness of these is instantly obvious once you slip them on (they would be a fantastic touring boot).
They do run a bit big as I noticed a good amount of dead space in the toes and shin area. I would maybe size down a 1/2 size. However, this wasn't a huge problem as I was only linking basic turns! I still found the boots responsive and comfortable. Overall, a fantastic pair of ski boots!

This bag is awesome and has exceeded my expectations! It's probably the best duffel bag I've ever seen and felt, and I've tried a lot of bags.
First of all, it feels like it's high-quality with lots of padding and well-made stitching. It feels like your stuff would definitely be protected in these. It's great both as a backpack and a duffel bag - super comfortable as a backpack with a taper to it to conform to your body, yet this doesn't take away from its functionality as a duffel bag. Impressive! Not overly large, either, just the perfect size. The right amount of pockets as well - there are some at the ends, small mesh ones on the inside, and of course the big large space. No dead space it seems.
I've used this as a travel bag for clothing and toiletries, as well as a sporty bag for snowboarding/skiing, and it's impressive how much this thing can fit.
Overall, I'm super happy with the design, construction, quality and comfort of this bag. It's honestly the best duffel I've ever used! No complaints really. (other than I got the highly impractical white which of course stains faster, but oh well, it looks fantastic!)

Not Just For Powder!
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Conditions: Creamy sparkly corn in the sun, bumps
This Guy Is: Pow board that isn't just for pow
Best For: Riders who like a fun, surfy, forgiving directional board that's killer on pow days

What a sweet board! I really liked it, and genuinely surprised how much I enjoyed it in non-powdery conditions. It's a bit of a shorty (148), and was pleasantly surprised when it held its own, didn't wash out on turns even on fast hardpack with moderate speed. Rad!

A great spring board too as it turns out, because it just cut through the creamy corn with ease! That tail is way cool, an angular type of swallow tail, which probably helps it cut through that stuff, as well as the pointy nose which floats easily above it combined with the springy flex.

It initiates turns quite fast, and is really fun to tail press and butter on. It's got a mellow, surfy forgiving feel to it, but it's more complex than just your average pow dedicated board.

Just like any pow board though, this thing will buck you off the bumps if you're not careful, so watch out, and use those legs for suspension - totally do-able though!

Surfy Sender! The Mountain Is Park
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Conditions: Mixed spring chunder and bumps, with some soft corn/slush to be had.
This Guy Is: A surfy sender! This thing wants to send it!
Best For: Riders with a park as your mountain type of view, this thing is playful, poppy and fast while still fun to butter on

The Skeleton Key is a blast! Its a Burton favorite for a reason and this upcoming years line is no exception. This is a playful directional camber board with a moderate flex and decent rise in the nose. I had so much fun surfing the mountain with it. Its got your back with whatever you throw at it. This is the most versatile feeling board I've tried out of the Burton line out of 4 boards - it could handle it all, I was pleasantly surprised. From the icy/variable spring conditions to the few soft stashes I found that day, I had so much fun on this thing.. It's light and poppy, but feels stiff when you need it to.

The tail is super interesting - all of Burton's boards for this line have had innovative shapes, and this is no exception. It's got an angular scoop out in the middle - you wonder if it helps make this board initiate turns really fast. The turn initiation was exceptional, it almost wants to take over in the trees and you should just trust and let it, and ride that tail! I whooped and hollered in the trees and tight lines with this thing.

I also thought the SK was very poppy especially for how little effort I put into the jumps - I just went flying. Just needs the tiniest bit of loading to go flying.
Also the carves are great as well - fun to make those big C shapes, and a forgiving board too. Fun to butter. I'm sure this would be a blast on a pow day, wish I could have tried it in deeper snow! All in all a sweet board that I'm stoked on!

The Base Camp is a great all-around duffel with a sturdy construction and simple design. The multitude of handles makes throwing this bag in a variety of locations easy (I brought it with me for a mult-day mountain biking trip!). The one thing I would change about it is having more compartments in the mesh lid pocket for organizing small objects. As far as water resistance the material and side zippers are great and the flap over the main zippers are good for a light rain but they could have put a more waterproof zipper and flap to be more trustworthy. Overall a great, durable duffel for traveling and car camping but I wouldn't leave it outside the tent during a rainstorm.

Wolf Pack! Sick Jacket
4 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: Runs small
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 160 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

I get so many compliments on this jacket! The design is way rad. Note: It's a shell, not an insulated jacket, so you will need to layer up in colder weather! It works great with a light baselayer in spring for those warmer temps. The Gore Tex does what it is supposed to and keeps me toasty in windy/wet conditions! I love the high collar and hood strings. The pockets are great, and there is even a little zippered section on the arm to stick your pass into - super handy for getting onto the lifts. (no more hip dances haha)
The only downside is I'm taller with a longer torso so the jacket sits a bit high on me (I'm 5'10, wear Med/Large) but those are just tall lady problems! Doesn't really affect me when I ride but the side pockets are a bit awkward to access.

I have had my eye on this mat for a while, and when I finally got the chance to get it, I was stoked! I also previously bought one for my mom, and was super jealous (haha!) after how much better it felt and how high quality it was compared to my old mat.
This thing is thick, soft, luxurious, and sustainably made - what's not to love? I use it for basic vinyasa/ashtanga practice so not much sweat, but I'm sure with the grippy texture and a towel, hot yoga would be great with it as well.
It didn't come with a chemical or rubbery smell as some new yoga mats do, and I can tell this will last forever. The only complaint I can think of is that lint/dog hairs seem to be attracted to the material, but I think that's common with a lot of mats.
I'm 5'10 and it's super nice to have all the material! I got the pink color, and it's gorgeous. Definitely motivates me to practice much more often! Happy with this mat, and looking forward to years of practice with it.

This is an excellent fleece! I used it a lot as a mid-layer for snowboarding and felt super warm without overheating - perfect combination! I got mine in the Utah Red - the color is exactly like the photo! Lovely shade. Flattering fit and soft and comfy fleece that I reach for just wearing around the house, too.
Thumb holes and zippable pockets. What more do you need? An added bonus is that the materials are recycled and made in an eco friendly way! So awesome.
