Paul Clark's Bio

I am a recent hire at BC, but have lived and played in PC for years. Brief stints in Oregon and Washington were no match for the Wasatch.

Love these, stretchy, slim enough, but not hipster. I got the 32x32 and they seems lightly long, but I am wondering what they will do post washing. First impression though is these are awesomely soft and stretchy and still look rugged.

I think these are actually a really great stretchy pant. Surprisingly slim from Prana, not as slim as the Tucson, but has stretch which makes these my go-to lately. They are a little funky in the front, but seem to fit well enough my wife likes them.... Try em!

Color wins, but have to admit the fit is still Nike.
If Nike works for you, these are awesome! If NIke doesn't, well, then don't expect any changes. The toe cap is "short" vertically, so my toe nails rub, and the pre-curvature is nice to run in, but can add some strain to my foot as I am usually in Salomon shoes. So these are sick for NIke lovers, and those whose feet fit NIke well, I wish my feet fit these better, as I love how they look. I wear 9.5 dress shoes and Vans, 10 for trail and road shoes, and these fit as expected in length for a 10.

this jacket is one of those hard wearing classic pieces that you dont realize you wear for years until you look back at all the adventures, all the chores, all the work that has been done wearing it. I have had mine for about 3 years now, and I wear a light down jacket under it on cold days when doing chores out side, or by itself when it is a fall day. I love that the fabric is recycled and organic mix, it gives it a semi broken in feel out of the bag. You can wax it like any Fjallraven item for some water repellency. If Carhartt is your jam, but you want unique, go here, you wont regret it. 5'10" 165, got a medium.

This sweater is my go-to for the workplace. Our HVAC is pretty variable. It is basically like being on transatlantic flight every day. When I arrive, the heat is blaring and I am forced to sit in 78deg, then by lunch it is nice and normal at about 70deg, then by mid afternoon, it seems to fall below 68deg, only to spike back to 75deg by closing bell. So having a Cool-Lite equipped sweater saves the day. I stay comfortable (for the most part) well beyond what a sweater would normally allow, (I usually wear a Tech-Lite shirt under so I can double down on the merino!) Fit is traditional Icebreaker, long and lean.

I love when a company reads my mind. I struggle with staying warm on the road bike when I ride in the mornings around the mountains. Leaving the house, it is full jacket weather, first climb, sweat and overheating, then first descent, freeze, repeat. My current solution is clunky, I wear a wind proof baselayer, jersey, jacket. but then I end up sweating through the base layer and getting a chill on the descent. So I go this and BOOM, fix the problems. I can wear a nice baselayer under and this on top, maybe some arm warmers, and I am good to go for my morning rides. Sweat doesn't build up since the material moves moisture and blocks wind. It keeps you warm on the descent and the flats, without over heating, and up the climbs, open up the full zip and you have perfect venting. The fit is trim, so I went to a large, I normally wear medium in most american cycling brands, large in Castelli, medium in most Assos. The sleeves are lang and good for keeping that style fresh, but not so long they are intrusive. The cut allows for nice articulation when you are riding in the drops. And the material is not "waterproof" because it doesn't have taped seams... whatever, it takes a massive downpour for you to get wet, the Gore Infinum is HIGHLY water resistant. I have the Infinum XC ski jacket too, it is the best material I have ever used for cold aerobic activity.

I am a huge merino fan, but I have to say, I got this and tested it out in high aerobic situations, and I gotta say, synthetic is better sometimes... This thing fit's trim, next to skin, but wont be terrible to wear on a run by itself. The material is silky smooth inside and moves freely, definitely nice when going fast. The moisture moves away from your skin so fast it is crazy. I wear mine xc skiing everyday now, and am very impressed.

When you see this shirt and don't know, it is a pretty sick design. When you see this shirt's name, and you don't know, you will scratch your head. BUUUUUT if you know, you know. To be honest, I didn't know.

This thing will let you go the distance. The Infinium is basically water proof, but doesnt have taped seams. It also STRETCHES so you can comfortably wear this running or xc skiing with a bit of protection. The mesh back lets the heat escape when things warm up, and the shell front keeps you from freezing in sprint for the line.

I have the R7 shakedry jacket, and it is truly and monumentally the most amazing thing. The only thing that could make it better, just happened.
Some subtle venting options and added durability take the shakedry fabric to the next level. Now you can enjoy the level of protection always promised from Gore-Tex, without the face fabric wetting out over hours in the rain, and take the product to the limit brushing up against the occasional tree or rock... Winning, Fit is more relaxed than the standard Gore fit, more appropriate for fast hikes or a few layers under if needed.

I was able to get one of these a while back and have loved it! it fits a bit more relaxed and tall than normal icebreaker so I would say a nice improvement for those who are looking for a longer cut without looking like Justin Beiber. The fabric wicks and moves freely without being clingy and is idea for the office or pedal commute. Can easily step in for a nice MTB shirt if you need too! The Tencel gives a nice structural feel to the fabric that makes it less clingy than merino, IMO. I sized up to a large and washed warm and tumbled low one time until almost dry, and the core and shoulders fir perfectly now, while retaining the length I wanted. Now I cold wash and hang dry from here on out.

Got this recently for my wife after I got some Solace product from Icebreaker for myself. The blend on the fabric creates a bit of highs and lows that is very attractive, and the drape is much more flowy than normal merino by itself. I love when she wears this. It fits pretty normal, my wife is 5'4" and 115, pretty petite, and normally is in between a XS and S for sport brands and XS always for Prana and mainstream brands, She got this in a small and it looks great on her, flowy and the scallop covers just enough when she wears tights but also fun and civil enough to wear with jeans or black pants at work.

Tencel in my Merino, hold the phone! Now I want Tencel in ALL my gear! Buttery soft and more durable than your average merino, this will hold up when you rally a quick gym session and then go straight back to work, or when your nerves kick in and you start sweating on that blind date - The no stink factor of Merino fires up and you are protected. The fit is more relaxed and modern than the Sphere or true baselayers. This fits more like a nice tshirt. You could easily wear it under a blazer and get your LA look on, or you could wear it to the office for a nice casual sharp look, or to the desert on your spring vitamin D hunt. I got a large, and actually dried it and the fit is insane, long and lean. I love it. I wouldn't recommend that technique unless you are sure about the fit you want. Normally wear a medium, but wanted a slouchier look.

I wear mine often, to work, to ride, to ski, it looks crisp in a casual work setting, and also functions great in a performance setting. The material is more durable than straight merino, but I still don't dry mine. After tons of washings, color is holding strong. Love this thing. I am fairly athletic and lean, so the fit is fine alone, but if one were thinking they wanted to cover up DadBod, size up, and you'll be fine!

I am a Lululemon fan for the products they offer, not so much the brand themselves. I am a huge fan of Reigning Champ for the brand, the products, and the striking definition of their core image. I got these pants to see how they stood up against the ABC pant from Lulu or the Prana Brion , or even the Icebreaker Connection. These have an extremely stretchy substantial material that drapes well for as light as it is. The stretch is awesome and immediately noticeable. Two points of differentiation is the fit and the attention to detail. The RC pants are much slimmer than the Brions, and more akin to the Connection pants - slim and functional without being hipster tight, and the attention to detail is incredible. The waist band is something that most men's pants just ignore, these though feel sturdy and substantial while feeling supple and stretchy. The vertical zip pockets are great for a quick stash, but the material is such that you may want to skip throwing your phone in there if you are concerned about how that looks. Overall, these are my go to office pants lately as the heat has been cranking and I need some breath-ability. I am 5'10 and 165, 32 fits great.
