These are my preferred cross country bindings and I have used them in a number of situations and conditions with great results. They are wider than your standard NNN binding and you can feel that extra width, which provides increased stability. The one pieces of advice I have is to clean off the toe piece before snapping into the binding, as snow can get stuck in the mechanics of the binding. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a burly cross country binding that will hold up in multiple conditons.

I have been using these boots all winter and they lived up to my expectations. From skiing down on groomed trails, to breaking trail in fresh snow, these boots keep your feet dry and warm.

The liner on these is warm and barely noticeable, keeping my feet warm in a thin pair of ski socks. My toes are the only part that tends to get cold after a day of skiing, and that seems to be due to the constant snow on that section. Besides that I have not noticed any other cold spots. The waterproof is great and I have never had wet feet or toes. The leather on the toe section is great, , and you can see the snow/water bead. The zipper is rugged and has never let any water or snow in.

I am a fan of the way these boots are designed for tightening. You can get the laces pulled tight, and the one complent is that the lower sections are hard to pull the laces tight. The section around the ankle really tightens the heel down and secures it. The ankle strap is a nice addtion and stabilizes the ankle when going down, as well as during those technical tricky moves.

I would recommend these to anyone looking for a burly boot that can handle a day of skiing in a variety of conditions. They are a bit on the smaller side of things and I would consider sizing a half size up.

These are my go-to water bottles for most outdoor activities; able to hold water securely and pack down when empty. I have been using Hydrapak products for years, and this is one of my favorite designs. It is wider than a standard water bottle which has a nice in-hand feel, and can be manipulated to fit securely in different pockets. I have had zero problems with plastic taste and only keep water in these. The twist cap can be a bit hard to open/close, but it does keep from spilling your water. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a packable alternative to traditional waterbottles.

I have used all types and styles of massage sticks throughout my running career, and this is my favorite by far. It has just the right amount of flex to contour around your muscles and provide all around pressure. I thought this was going to be just for my legs, but quickly discovered there are a ton of massages for the entirety of the body. Highly recommended for any that lives an active lifestyle, especially runners, hikers, and skiers.

These have quickly become my go-to hiking and running poles. They are extremely light, even lengthened out or packed down they are supremely light and barely noticeable when in a pack. Despite being so light, they are quite burly and durable; having dropped and thrown them without any substantial damage. The grips on them are great and do not get slippery when you begin to sweat, and show no signs of breaking down so far. I highly recommend these for anyone looking for collapsable trekking poles that are strong and light.

Fit: True to size

This has quickly become my go-to hoodie for any type of exercise in colder to cool weather. With the sun setting sooner this is great to have in your pack on a hike or trail run, and packs down quite well. The fit is tight without being constrictive, the inner fabric is soft, and does not irritate your skin. It breathes well for how heavy it is and regulates your temperature better than expected. The thumb holes are great for keeping heat in, and the hood stays secure on your head. Overall this is becoming a favorite piece of athletic clothing, and recommend this to anyone looking for an active style hoodie.

This is an exceptionally warm sleeping bag, and has quickly become my go-to car camping and general use sleeping bag. One of my favorite features is the hood design, which is comfortable but also very warm. You are able to adjust it and cinch it down to fit around your head/face. The eco-friendly synthetic insulation lofts up great and retains warmth well. The material is burly and stands up to abuse; with the zipper having a design that minimizes snags which is amazing. Overall this is a great bag that I will be using for years to come, and recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile multi-use sleeping bag.

These things are amazing and I take it with me every time I go camping to carry water. I have the 4 liter which works fantastic; being easy to carry and storing way more water than one would expect. My favorite feature are the three different nozzles you have with the cap, and they each work for different tasks around the camp. These bags are also burly and packable, able to be thrown around the camp and fit into a very small shape when empty. I highly recommend these to any one looking for an innovative water container.

These took some getting used to, but have become my go-to running shorts for hot weather; and if I want to be fast. The liner was what took some getting used to, but the is supremely soft and supportive. The material breathes amazingly, with the pockets barely noticeable but able to hold a large number of items. (phone keys and room for more) These are great short running shorts.

This has become one of my favorite knives and stays on my keychain. The one end is a great pry tool and is integrated into the overall design. The actual blade is great steel, has a large face for the size, and is sturdy when opened. Overall this is an amazing knife and recommend to anyone looking for a smaller knife.

This will be my third pair of Altra's, with this update being one of the best, adding features that greatly aid in the run or hike. One of my favorite new additions, is that the tongue is completely sewn into the upper on one side; meaning that it does not move around at all through-out the run. One of my pet peeves is when a tongue moves around or bunches up while using the shoe; and this totall elimantes that.
The front of the shoe seems a bit more burly, with the toe guard being quite tough and I have hit it a number of times on rocks and trees. I would also advise on putting the rock guard in as the soles are a bit soft without it, and a sharp rock can be easily felt. The mid-sole has been supportive but also supply at the same time without being to soft. Overall this is an amazing update and I would suggest Altra's to anyone looking for an essential minimalist shoe.

This is the first camp pillow I have found that does not give me a neck-ache! The down is amazing and packs down quite small; it comes with an attached stuff sack with a cinch cord. The down also lofts up fast and stays like that un-packed. It does go down when you lay on it, but provides enough support throughout the night.

Personally, I prefer this pillow to all of the inflatable pillows I have tried. Every inflatable pillow has given me a neck-ache as it is stuck on a single firmness. This down pillow moves with you, supporting your head and neck in various positions.

This is a nice different version of the stretch zion pant, with the main part being that it is skinnier and straight leg. I was expecting the legs to be skinny but was surprised by how tight they actually are. The tightness is not bad since they stretch and breathe exceptionally, but I prefer my pants a bit looser in that area. A great addition to the stretch zion family, and perfect if you are looking for a straighter tighter fit then the standard stretch zion.

Be wary, the sizing on this hat is a bit on the odd side. I tried the L/XL and it was huge, but the S/M fits like a glove. There is no tightening system in the hat, which is a bummer but there is a chin strap to keep it secure.

The hemp material is amazing and is rugged, having a semi-rigid brim. It has the two gusseted holes to aid with breathing, and the hemp is more breathable then expected. Over-all this is a great stylish hat.

These bars are amazing! I have been a fan of cliff bar for years, decided to give these a try and was blown away. Besides being delicious, they are extremely filling for what it is. You can literally taste the ingredients in these! One bar will be plenty for a hike or other medium length adventure, and I often split the bar in half. I will be getting more of these for sure!

I have tried a number of energy gummies/chews and these are hands-down the best that I have found. They provide natural energy, without that jittery feeling, and taste great! Each pack has two servings in it as well, and 4-5 of these gummies are perfect for anything from a work-out to a concert. I highly recommend these.

These have quickly become my go-to softshell pants for a variety of winter activities. I primarily use them for cross country skiing, but they also work great for general winter activities and hiking. I wear these with a pair of light-weight tights and they work great for xc skiing, and I was surprised by how breathable they actually are. The two large zippers on the legs are great for venting, and the options suspenders are great to help keep them in place. These do fit a bit on the tighter side of things, and have slimmer legs which is fine for a lean build. Over-all these are an amazing pair of softshell pants, perfect for a variety of winter activities, and have a number of features that make them easy to use.
