Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Overall this is a nice vest. Not too puffy like others I've tried, but still keeps your core very warm. I've worn it on hikes in 15 degree weather underneath a down jacket for extra warmth and also over a long sleeve baselayer alone while walking the dog in 40-50 degree temps. It's stylish enough to wear to work or on a casual night out. My one complaint is the same as that noted by others: If you are a curvy girl or have wider hips, it is very tight at the bottom. The rest of the vest fits perfectly, but the bottom is so tight I can barely zip it if wearing jeans. It's a bit easier with workout pants on, but still a bit tight and bunches up when you sit. I'm 5'4 143 lbs and do have big hips, so it may be perfect for those with a smaller frame or narrow waist and hips, but for hourglass, pear or other wider-hip body types, the bottom may be an issue. I still wear it a lot, just have to pull it down occasionally as it rides up. Other than that it's greats do I love it, just wish the bottom were either stretchy or a little wider.
