This is a stretch woven fleece so it's not a knit like fleece nor is it softshell. It's a totally new concept and fabric. It's my goto jacket for cooler days/ hikes and worked great as a mid layer underneath my shell. If you are looking for something new this is worth checking out. I've been wearing everyday all spring long.

It's not windproof so it breaths really nicely in more humid conditions or for running/hiking. It has a DWR so if its raining it will keep you dry until you get inside. Preshell is a perfect name as it's what you put on BEFORE you need to bring out the waterproof stuff that is great but is heavy/crunchy/expensive and just can't breathe as well as something like this...

If you are looking for a jacket that you can wear 80% of the year for almost any activity this is worth checking out. The fabric, it's like butter. I've been running in it and hiking and it my new must have in my pack.

It also weighs almost nothing, lighter than any hike/camp shirt and it's UPF 50 so I can ditch the colars/grandpa camp shirt stuff and use this as my exclusive sun management item as well...

As a guy I have like 8 hoodies in my closet. They are pretty cheap and I wear them all the time. Bought this one and spent about $20-$30 more than any other hoodie I have bought so was a bit apprehensive. What a good decision. This is actually so good looking my wife comments on how great a look... IN A HOODIE... WHAT!!!... So if you are a hoodie guy like me, run do walk into buying this. you will not be disappointed. It's not as obvious in the image but when it arrives you will see just how far this has evolved from you basics you have in your closet. I also like that it's clean and without branding on it. Just looks good without advertising the brand that made it. Well done..

If you already own the original AP pant getting this one won't be hard to add but if you have not had this brands AP (All Purpose) then why not start with the top of the line... A little heavier which is like for fall and mountain living. Snap back pockets are a nice addition and trico lined pockets are a nice addition. What I like most if the utility. I can wear for almost any outdoor activity but can also use it for a night on the town and my wife doesn't complain when I wear it out for date night. As a guy this is basically the trifecta for a dude.. Well done Mountain Hardwear!!! My new favorite pant.

So many good things to say about this board.
#1) Can get to 25 PSI (Nobody can do that except RED)
#2) The Battons on the side adds additional rigidness which make a huge difference in Ride performance
#3) After-market FCS fin
This board is a close as I have ever come to a hard board. The Titan pump might be the hidden gem in all of this as it can pump up the board in 1/2 half the time as other pumps. The bag is legit... Took it on a 3 mile hike to mountain lake and was comfortable... Everything that comes with this board is premium quality. If you want to step up from a basic board this is the one for you. It's the BEST BOARD. RED might not be a big name in the US but they won't be for very long....

If you want to spend less time pumping and more time paddling then spend a little extra for this pump. Cuts time and arm burn by way more than half. It's the Jam and this pump can get me 25psi out of my RED board but works with any brand. Don't skimp on a pump, it's like buying a rad skis and then renting boots... C'mon man!

I read the review below after I purchased this tent and I had quite the opposite experience.

Fabrics were light and very breathable, I used it for a couple 14er trips and it really stayed dry even on humid nights.

The poles are DAC Featherlite which are crazy light and found in most high end backpacking tents. There performed as they should and was happy with the easy up set up.
I did not use a foot pad and we were setting up in some rocky areas and the floor held tight and no tears.

What I was most impressed by was the usable space and the double vestibule against the weight. It's not one of those sacrafice everything to save a few ounces but a very comfortable tent for a couple buddies and dogs...

Great Tent by Hardwear... I also own the Ghost UL tent from mountain hardwear and I prefer this for shorter distances, peak bagging tent. If you are looking for long mileage, week plus action I'd look at the Ghost UL.
