Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've been fortunate enough to demo several skis this year and this is hands down my favorite. In fact, this is may be the best ski I've ever skied. As an avid Tahoe skier, who works on the mountain, I need a ski that can handle all types of terrain and conditions. The Fischer 102 Fr is the one ski I keep going back to. It's extremely light, yet strong enough slice through powder and the chop. I was surprised how well it performed in moguls and hard pack.

This is just a great all around ski for advanced skiers who demand performance and want a fun, lively ski.

I recently got back from a demo in Mammoth with wet, powdery, windy conditions. The snow was heavy and my 47 year old legs only had a few more run in them until I tried the 99 Kore. This skis was incredibly easy to turn and sliced right through the wet, tracked pow. It made skiing effortless, which is what I needed at that time of the day. I put it through it's paces for the next hour and it exceeded my expectations. I can only imagine how well it would do in ideal conditions after plowing through the slop. This is a great all around ski for anyone who wants to rip around the whole mountain all day and still have energy to hit the bar.

As a patroller at a resort in Tahoe, I was looking for a great all around ski and the Ranger 98 TI fit the bill perfectly. I was initially impressed with how well it held an edge on slick wind blown hard back. On several occasions when conditions were less than Ideal, I found myself enjoying runs that everyone else was avoiding. The 98 waisted and rocker make skiing in the powder or spring corn fun and effortless. I have several pairs of skis, but if I had to choose one to do it all it would be the 98 Ti.
