a good placement can be fiddly, but then nothing else could fit as well. the best for horizontals, eyebrows, and some pockets. I have one bigger and a couple of doubles and use them in NC/GA climbing. this set has saved the day at least twice for me. I don't use them like nuts, I find the touch a little off, but some do. I placed four tricams on one pitch of the Nose at Looking Glass last week.

I usually place these before I place a c4, unless the placement is pretty deep (can be harder to remove). But this goes both ways. Sometimes the shorter Dragon fits a horizontal better without running over the edge. I like the DMM design. So, very good protection, that's holding up.

Fit: Runs small

Size Purchased: L

I wear it all the time for running, climbing, or keeping the heat a little lower at home. It protects well on a bushwhack through rhodo and thorns. Fit is a bit small. I got a large which is loose, but medium was too tight. One of my #1 pieces of outdoor clothing. Very good for variable days, little cold, little hot, and indeed very good for wind. One of two hoodies I use, and the hood on this is surprisingly useful for something so light. (the picture make here makes it look thick, it is not thick, it is feather-weight)

It's very easy to work with. Flakes, feeds through atc, and etc very well. Very good belay, and rappel with the Reverso. Bi is easy to read. 9.7 is great. Link pitches with 70. It's holding up well being drug across granite. Very happy with the rope. (pattern is different than pictured for Bi, though color is the same. fluorescent green works for me)

These are sticky, durable, and on the hiking boot end of the spectrum. The longer I have them the more I like them. They were a bit snug in the forefoot to start, and consequently I got a slightly larger size. Great for hiking, great on slab and scrambling, but the extra room makes it difficult to really climb beyond 4th class, which suits me. Easy to transition straight to scrambling and slab, intuitive sticky boot. Sometimes I just go out in running shoes, but when there is a 1+ hour approach, weather, 4th class terrain, and etc. I wear these. May be finicky to fit, but I find this with all climbing and hiking shoes. They would be heavy on a harness. I have the previous version, I assume they are quite similar, beyond the color change.

I have had one of these for two years. We've done a lot of weekend cragging, TR + lead. It has held up very well being pulled over lots of NC granite slab. I'd recommend the rope for sure, and it's a good price on sale. It's still in good shape, no fuzz, no defects in sheath or core. No one has taken any gigantic lead falls on it, so I can't speak to that aspect of performance. It has supported a lot of climbing.
