Super comfy and warm, definitely do run a bit small so size up
Moved to Salt Lake in 2012 and decided to stay after finishing school in 2016. I love snowboarding, camping, skateboarding, and all outdoor activities Salt Lake has to offer!
Super comfy and warm, definitely do run a bit small so size up
Definitely a fan of the quality and durability of these pants. Only small issue for me was that compared to my measurements which are 32x32, they were slightly longer than expected but not a huge deal, just a heads up for sizing
If you're looking for a solid Gore Tex jacket at a great price this is it! The insulation has been awesome for even the coldest days of the season so far and would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting an awesome all-around jacket without dropping a ton of cash
Just ordered these again after finally retiring my old pair. Definitely my favorite pair of mitts I've owned. They're extremely warm, durable, and dry with their Gore Tex construction. My last pair lasted three seasons so I'd definitely say it's worth investing in them rather than going through multiple pairs that will fall apart over time and won't be as warm or waterproof!
Solid price for solid goggles. Wide peripheral view and easy to swap lenses on plus helmet comparability is perfect.
Really like the adjustable earpieces and great peripheral coverage! Awesome price for a quality product!
These are great to use as a stomp pad whether you're sending one-footers in the park or just trying to stay on your feet getting off the lift. You can also put them in your favorite grab spots to get maximum tweak on your tindys
Just got these for the season and I'm definitely pumped on the purchase! These are flexible enough for pressing in the park while stiff and snappy enough to give great performance on jumps and pow days. After having Union bindings in the past, I'm definitely sold on their durability and performance so the Force was clearly the way to go.
Just picked up these Squad XL's and can't wait to put them to use this season! I was worried about the peripheral vision as I like a wider frame but after receiving these, they seem perfect. Super comfortable, wide field of vision, and they're totally compatible with my Smith Maze MIPS helmet so the fit is seamless. The fact that you get an extra ChromaPop (Smith's color-enhancing technology) low-light lens with these also makes the deal that much better!
This hammock is perfect for hiking around or switching it up from the tent on a camping night. The only change I would make personally is the upgrade to a DoubleNest. I've slept comfortably in this hammock with my sleeping pad for insulation, sleeping bag, and pillow but it took a little time to get secure in the hammock making sure I wouldn't roll out. Definitely recommend, would only suggest looking into the double for added comfort and stability.
This has been a great bag for various trips since purchasing this past spring. While camping in cold conditions at Mount Hood this past May, I slept comfortably throughout the night. The interior pocket is great for keeping important items like phone, wallet, etc. stored safe.
Made the upgrade to this from a bulky yet thin/uncomfortable foam pad and could not be happier! This sleeping pad packs down extremely well while being luxuriously large when inflated. The wide design is super nice as I tend to move around a bit trying to get comfortable before passing out. This pad has made a huge difference for my camping experience and I would highly recommend to anyone on the search for one!
This is the perfect camping pillow for minimizing space while having a great night's rest on the road! Packs down super small but does not skimp on quality. The foam insert is great and you can adjust the air-fill to your personal preference of support. BUY BUY BUY!!
I got this tent this past spring and it is awesome! With only two color-coordinated assembly poles, setting this tent up is a breeze even if you're stuck doing it in the dark. Having two doors and the vestibules is an awesome feature as you can leave dirty gear outside the tent and you don't have to be crawling over each other to go a midnight bathroom break. The side-vents help with condensation and the footprint was a lifesaver while camping in rainy Oregon weather.
I've ridden two pairs of Holograms over the last three years and am a big fan! Super playful binding with its flexible highbacks and durable straps which hold up super well over time. The only drawback with my recent pair (purchased in the 15/16 season so they may have made changes since) was that the toe-cap was somewhat rigid which caused pressure points if ratcheted too tight and slipped out of place if not ratcheted enough. This is only a minor issue which can be swapped out with new toe-caps so aside from that, I have no complaints whatsoever and would totally recommend these bindings.
I've been riding the Knew for the past three seasons and am all about i! The flat camber is flexible and fun in the park while remaining stable on big jumps and ripping pow days. What makes this board even better is the environmentally friendly manufacturing processes Niche uses so you can feel good about ripping a board with a good cause!
( https://nichesnowboards.com/sustainable-snowboards/ ) Between this board's all-around performance and the company's eco-friendly vision, I would highly recommend this board to anyone looking for an amazing mix of park and all-mountain fun! Also, the fact that this board was a Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood Award winner for the Park division under $450 should tell you everything you need to know about bang-for-your-buck!
I got this helmet last season and was amazed with the change from my old one! It was way lighter than my previous helmet and fit super comfortably. The MIPS system is definitely the way to go and worth the added cost as it helps to further prevent head injuries. I've saved myself on some solid falls thanks to this helmet and would highly recommend to anyone on the search!
I've used these mittens every day of riding for the past two seasons and they're still holding up well! Extremely warm and durable mittens that are worth the investment for sure. If you need a pair of mittens you can depend on, these are definitely the move!
