Nolan Paini's Bio

Originally from the east coast, my thirst for shredding big lines brought be further and further out west. You'll likely find me split boarding in the Wasatch in the winter and trying to climb in the summer. Party on!

I use this belt for everyday casual wear and for skiing. What I love most about it is the low profile buckle, so it doesn't dig into your stomach when you sit down or hunch over. The brand was founded by one of the hardest charging ski pros, so you know it can take a beating. You won't be disappointed with this purchase!

I tried these out on a few big touring days and they worked like a charm. They keep the circulation going, allowing you to have those long days on the slopes. The light cushion in the toes and heel is a nice addition for those, like myself, that only need a touch of support.

I usually have a tough time finding jeans that fit me well and I was so impressed with these. They're not baggy, but they also aren't so slim that they hug your legs. Totally stoked on these and I will definitely be buying a few more pairs.

I usually run pretty hot when I'm touring and have to ditch my beanie 10 minutes in to the ascent. However, the lightweight construction of this beanie does an amazing job at keeping my head warm without overheating, so I'm able to keep it on for much longer. If you're looking for a super toasty beanie, I'd go with the Speedway, but if you're like me and run hot, this is the perfect beanie for you!

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

If you have a friend that wants to get into climbing, this is a great package to get them into this wonderful sport with minimal investment. I was blown away at the value you get for the price you pay. I got this package for a buddy and he's been using this gear for the past year and it's been holding up just fine!

This thing rocks! I got it as a gift and had no idea how awesome it would be. It's super bright and small, which makes it great for camping. The run time on it is very long and the fact that you can recharge it instead of buying batteries saves money over time. You'll be stoked on this purchase!

I bought this pack a few months ago and it is, by far, the best laptop backpack I've ever had. The mesh vents to a great job letting air flow through on your back. Lots of compartments that can hold a ton of stuff, in addition to a laptop. It gets the job done and looks sleek doing it!

It's versatile in that you can wear it slouchy or folded up and it's super soft. Keeps me warm when I'm shredding too!

Hands down, or maybe I should say feet down, one of the best socks for touring out there. They help with circulation, which is critical on those long days in the backcountry. Also, they do a great job at fighting odor, so you can definitely get more than one use out of them before washing. Do your feet a favor and treat them to some Dissent!

The Fall Line Glove is hands down one of the best gloves out there. The dexterity is incredible and they're super warm. I got the cork/black colorway, which is exclusive to Backcountry.com, and get compliments on them all the time on the chairlift. The Fall Line's will hold up after years of abuse, so it's definitely worth spending a few extra bucks on gloves that get the job done and will last several seasons!
