Nolan Paini's Bio

Originally from the east coast, my thirst for shredding big lines brought be further and further out west. You'll likely find me split boarding in the Wasatch in the winter and trying to climb in the summer. Party on!

Let's be honest, Coal knows how to make a beanie. The Uniform is super comfy and doesn't stretch out on you at all. You'll find yourself buying a few more after you've made your initial purchase, trust me.

These are great for touring. They're breathable, lightweight, and have a little hit of leather on the palm for some extra grip while holding poles. Can't go wrong with these if you're looking for a solid glove to wear while skinning!

A must have for backcountry touring. Great for testing the angle on a slope to see if you are in fact in avalanche terrain. I love to just stop and test myself or others on what we think the slop angle is. It weighs practically nothing, so it's great to just throw it in your pack.

My fiance would say these are probably essentials. In fact, I think she is more likely to forget her sleeping bag or pad than these wine cups. We bring these car camping and they work great. No complaints over here!

Although I don't own one of these, I've seen it in action and was blown away. The surface to cook on can be either a grill or griddle depending on which side it's on, which is pretty awesome. Next, it's a cast iron surface. Bonus! It will definitely impress people next time you're tailgating or car camping.

I've been rocking these binders for the past 3 years and love them. I put about 200 days on them and never had a single issue. Never! One thing to keep in mind is that you want to minimize the number of failure points in a binding and by keeping it simple, you reduce the risk of being stranded in the backcountry or stuck on a knife-edge ridge unable to descend. Less moving parts = less likely something will go wrong. Big fan of these bindings because they've never let me down! Nice work Voile!

The innovation in this pack is truly incredible. I love that it can expand between 40L-60L, which makes it super versatile. No need to have a weekend pack and a separate pack for weekend+ adventures. The Flex Capacitor can meet the demands of both without really adding weight. Nice work Sierra Designs!

Holy smokes these gloves are awesome! I do a lot of touring, so I'm spending a lot of time in the backcountry and need a pair of gloves that can deliver warmth in frigid conditions as soon as I put them on. With that being said, these gloves have been and will continue to be my go to. 230g of PrimaLoft insulation keeps my hands toasty no matter how cold it is. Water-repellent leather shell and palm will last years if you take care of them. My current pair is going on 4 years and have almost 300 days on them. Hands down my favorite pair of gloves I've ever owned.
