I debated getting this Flannel for a looooong time and I'm so happy I finally pulled the trigger. It's so soft, has a feminine flattering cut (without being too tight in any one spot) and you can really tell how well made it is. Bonus: it doesn't pull at all across my chest which is so hard to find in a non boxy button up! The colors are as crisp and rich as they are in photos. I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly - I'm 5'3

Cozy Leggings
4 5

These are nice for cold weather hiking, traveling and generally lounging. Love the cozy fleece lining, but they run a little hot when I wear them to workout. The highwaist cut is comfortable and flattering, and I like the length because I'm only 5'3" - they hit about an inch above my ankle. They tend to slide down a bit during ongoing activity, so I find myself having to pull them up. Overall, quite happy with these!

Perfect Shell
5 5

This is my first 3L Gortex shell and I did roll tons of research trying to find the right jacket. I am so happy with this one! First, the fit is fabulous - it looks great over a baselayer on a really warm day or over 3 layers on a freezing cold day. It's slightly fitted without having an overly feminine appearance, it's a tad longer in the back to help keep your bum warm on cold days, it has a nice large hood that even fits over my helmet, and 3 nice external pockets. I use the inner pouch to stash a beanie. Keeps me warm and dry on powder days, plus I've received a lot of compliments on the mountain which a nice bonus.

This is a solid Patagonia piece - it has a slightly feminine cut, great color selection and nice, thick feeling to it. Only two downsides for me: I don't love the little sidecuts and although the flannel fits everywhere else, it still pulls just a touch across my bust. Not a deal breaker, i just opt for a cami or tee underneath. Sizing: I'm 5'3", 135-140 lbs, 36B and ordered a size 8. I might consider going up a size next time to see if that alleviates the bust issue.

I was looking to upgrade my goggle / helmet setup and these are perfect. I picked up the teal color and they look and fit great with my black Smith helmet. I love that the lens surface is a little larger, so you don't have to worry about turning your head to see what's going on in your periphery. They come with a bonus low light lens, and it's super easy to swap out.

Great Shades
5 5

I wanted to pick up a new pair of shades for a recent trip to New Zealand - I wanted one pair to travel in, hike, bike, and still look good wearing around town. These 100% fit the bill! They are comfortable to wear all day, and they look great on the trail and outside a trendy cafe. The value for the price is a huge bonus in my opinion.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these for my husband, he says "These are too cold to do what I wanted them to do. I mostly wanted to use them for touring, they are fine if the sun is out but I try to start before it rises and my hands are freezing. They might come into their own during spring touring, we will see. Mostly right now I just use them for driving to work. I would be interested to see what the softshell heavyweight are like, I imagine they would be more functional as a touring glove."

Bought these for my husband, he says "I love how comfortable these are, by far the best touring pants I have ever had. I really like the built in belt, I took the suspenders off right away but I am sure they work fine. There is a zipper on the outer lower leg above the gator that is supposed to give you access to adjusting boots, but it doesnt open wide enough for me to actually buckle my boot, get to my power strap or adjust the walk mode, it opens on the side of the boot in between all of these. I have to just pull the gator up over the boot so I can get to everything and then pull it down. The overlap of the gator and the pant is not long enough to just leave the gator over the top of the boot leaving easy access to my buckles, power strap and walk mode switch like I do with my pants that I use in-bounds. Also would be nice to have a dedicated beacon pocket, or at least a loop in one of the pockets that I can clip my beacon to. The two front pockets are huge and stretchy which is great. The vents are fine. These fit a bit tighter than the ski pants I am used to but I like the look. If the gator, zip access thing wasnt so strange (I have salomon mtn labs btw, these might work better with different boots) I would give them 5*."

I bought this for my sister-in-law as a christmas gift. She loves it, loves the style and it fits great. Her only complaint is that it is a bit thin/colder than her usual long underwear combo for snowboarding. The zip around the waist works well and the thumb holes help with the heat, she doesnt really use the hood as her other layers have hoods. "not warm enough, but I feel like a ******* ninja."

I bought this for my dad for christmas. It fits hime perfectly and he likes the zippered hand pockets. He wears it to walk his dog on cold mornings, it has just enough water shedding to function well with some precipitation too. Fairly stylish too, he has worn it out a few times.

I bought these for my mom for christmas. She likes to cross country ski with her dog up on hiking trails in the winter time. These pants have been perfect, the built in belt is very handy and the stretchy material is very comfortable. Only complaint she has is the gators are not that tight and are not adjustable, they are fairly loose over her small cross country ski boots. She is a size 12 and bought a large, fits perfect.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have been trimming skins the old way for years with anxiety and apprehension. always making one or two mistakes that will then accompany me through the mountains for years and years. But never again! Be gone all you imperfections and stray cuts, now I only have my technique to blame for sliding ass-backwards down the flagstaff skinner! This tool will change your life, best 4 bucks I've ever spent.

I bought this for my husband, he says "This shirt looks great and fits well. Its a pretty thick flannel so its warm, perfect for winter time or camping. For most companies I am a medium but for Patagonia their small fits me like a glove."

When I first tried on this shirt, I was not stoked. I'm a true medium and it definitely fit larger and looser than I expected. It looked kind of frumpy with my jeans. When I tried it on with black leggings, everything changed - it now looks very flattering! It's longer in the back than the front, and works well with leggings and tall riding boots or heeled booties. I think this would also look good with yoga pants after the gym - I wouldn't actually work out in it because it's not a performance material. The fabric is very lightweight and soft - it's a little rough around the hem, but I like that detail. It fits dolman style, so the armpits are loose and dropped a bit. Quick note from reading other reviews: the back 1/4 zip is definitely a style element, a cute one in my opinion, and not meant to be functional. I think this fits mostly 'true to size' because it's meant to be oversized, but keep that in mind!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I dig this hat, but I don't love it. I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact that my dome is above average for a petite woman. The material on this hat is nice and thick, and it has a cool texture to it, but no matter what I do it just doesn't keep my ears warm. When I fold it, it doesn't quite cover my ears and when I leave it unfolded, it's pretty saggy and lets a draft through. Bottom line: good looking city beanie, but not all that practical for staying truly warm in my opinion.

I was looking for a pair of joggers that would be suitable to wear in public to run errands, and although these don't really solve for that desire, I LOVE them for hanging around the house / walking the dog / Bachelor Monday nights with my girlfriends. They are sooo soft and fuzzy on the inside, you'll never want to take them off. The speckled pattern is a night touch and makes them feel more special than your average sweatpants. My only concern is the longevity of the fabric - they are starting to pill a bit where my legs rub together, so I'll be sad when they start showing wear and tear inevitably. I don't like super tight lounge pants / joggers, so these definitely fit true to size in my opinion. I do need to use the drawstring, but I like having the option of wearing them higher or lower and I wouldn't want the legs to be any tighter, so I'm glad I ordered a medium.

I was looking for a new pair of skinny black jeans that would look nice with boots during the winter and these definitely fit the bill. I could see how these would run a bit short in the legs for tall ladies, but at 5'3'' I LOVE that they land right at my ankle, fitting perfectly into my ankle boots without needing to cuff. They're a nice medium weight, not too thin like some stretchy 'jeggings'.

This top is super cozy and is my new go-to for those days when you just want to wear leggings but don't want to feel like a total slob. The quilted pattern is wonderfully retro, exactly what I've come to love and expect from Patagonia. It's quite thick and warm, not a flimsy pullover. Love the collar and snap pocket details as well. My personal cons: the thread on the quilting is a bit delicate and I've had problems with it getting snagged in the wash and on my dogs toe nails. Also, I think this runs pretty large, even for Patagonia tops. I was hoping it would shrink a bit after washing, but it's still way too big on me. I should've learned from my similar experience with the Synchilla, but I'm so used to buying medium tops that I forgot!
