I am super impressed with this jersey, which seems basically the same as my long-sleeve Gabba. In temps from the high-30s into the 50s I am comfortable, which is an impressive range. It really is windproof yet still breathable, which is amazing because so many products that claim to do this really don't.

I got this in size large rather than medium like my Gabba, and the larger size is arguably better for colder weather. I am 5'10' 150 pounds, and the medium is almost too short in the front and sleeves, and it could not be any tighter or I would not be able to zip it. This one is longer and a bit roomier for a bigger baselayer, but both sizes work for me (I am almost always a medium though, for reference).

Along with its windproof qualities it is great at shedding water. These materials change my attitude about wet rides and allow you to go farther with more comfort in the rain. These are some of the best pieces of cycling gear that you can buy. The Nano Flex bib shorts make the perfect companion, since they are also very rain-worthy. But I really wish Castelli made shorts and/or tights from the Gabba material to pair with this jersey, as the Nano Flex is not windproof and not warm enough for me on its own in colder temps (like sub-40).

These have the same rain shedding ability of the Nanoflex bib shorts, and the material seems to be more windproof than typical warmers as well. They are not rainproof, but water will bead up and you will stay dry and comfy much longer than with typical materials. And they breathe well so you can ride in comfort.

They do run small: I ordered size large, the same as my other Castelli leg warmers, versus medium in most things. They are not as stretchy as normal warmers (and take some care to put them on), and I don't think I could have worn medium. Especially at the ankle, I could not go any smaller. But the result is a perfect fit, but with little margin for error.

Nanoflex material really is fantastic, and paired with the Perfetto jersey and neoprene gloves in wet weather I find I can ride farther and with much more comfort than in normal materials. They do get wet eventually, but continue to regulate your temperature and remain much more comfortable than normal gear.

These really do work at shedding water, as it will bead up and keep you dry far longer than typical shorts. Several times I was able to do longer rides, and with more comfort, than I could have done without such rain-resistant gear (using the leg warmers as well, and Gabba or Perfetto jersey, as well as neoprene gloves).

They run small: I am just under 5'10" 150 pounds and wear medium in most brands, but usually large in Castelli. That is even more true for these shorts, which I think have less stretch or at least less margin for error than other shorts from them.

These shorts are super comfy, great chamois; and the length and fit is excellent (very long for warmth, but no bagginess at the knees). These are top shorts to use in rain and cold weather, and I liked these so much I bought a second pair not long after. I like these in temps from the mid-40s thru the 60s.

My only 'complaint' would be that they aren't warm enough or windproof enough for me when it is really cold, like sub-40. I don't know if Castelli makes a bib short using the Gabba/Perfetto material, but that would be an upgrade in terms of warmth and wind-resistance to this Nanoflex material.

Fit: True to size

These are great rain shoes, as advertised. My only minor quibble would be that they are not that tight at the top velcro strap: This can let some water in, although it was not a major issue as water can leak in here via your socks or tights in significant rain anyway. But I might prefer the shoe to be slightly higher. However, the tradeoff here might be comfort, as I have worn some winter shoes that are higher and tighter and they can be hard on the ankles; while these Sidis are very comfy.

The shoes are warm too. I definitely view this as an advantage: For example I wore these on a night ride purely for the warmth of the fleecy footbed and the wind-resistance. However, they might be too warm in summer conditions. But as a general rule I would not wear these shoes unless I am also wearing tights or leg warmers, so the warmth is welcome.

These are a very useful item in my cycling wardrobe, that bridges the gap to a true winter shoe, and a good value. I usually wear 44 but bought 45 in order to fit a thicker sock, and the fit is great.

The fit of this jersey is great, better for me than some more expensive choices, although it is hard to generalize on fit. The long sleeves are well done. I found this jersey to be comfortable even in hot weather (I am in PA, with some 90 degrees and very humid lately).

These are a tighter fit than the Elite-level bibs (which I like a lot as well), a bit more of a 'race' fit with some compression. I am on the verge of wearing large in these and some other bib shorts, and could really wear either size. The length is good, long-ish, but no flapping or bagginess at the knee.

The chamois is a clear upgrade from what is offered on the Elite bibs, in my view, although I am not picky in that regard. These are up there with my favorite bib shorts across various brands and are a really good value. I have not worn them enough yet to judge long-term durability, but they seem durable and solid, just like many other PI bibs that I have used over the years.
