Really nice shirt that doesnt look too "sporty" like a lot of Prana button downs are. Note this is more of a standard fit than the slim fit that Prana makes a lot of but still not overly boxy on a slender frame. Was worried about a partial cotton shirt especially for summer in the south but it is surprisingly light. Would recommend!

I havent noticed the shrinking issue that the other reviewer had but then again I tend to be very conservative on what I put in the dryer.

This shirt is absolutely fantastic for the summer months. It works year round for me but is especially nice for the hot humid summers in the south. As with most Prana shirts the fit tends to be a little more athletic. Fabric breathes exceptionally well. As much as I love most Prana button downs a lot of times their cotton can be a little heavy for summer months which makes this the perfect alternative!

Note... did not buy this shirt from backcountry, found it on sale locally.

Beautiful boot that can be paired well in a number of settings. Strong enough to wear doing physical labor, dressy enough to wear to a more casual office and comfy enough to wear in 3 seasons. Break in of the leather sole takes a bit of time but is worth it! I get compliments on them nearly every time I wear them. Ordered another pair for my Dad a year after having mine and he loves them too!

Runs slightly small, notably mid foot. Typically wear an 11.5 in tennis shoes and ordered an 11.

Got these after riding without true MTB shoes for about a year. Had heard nothing but killer reviews but I cant honestly say theyre a huge improvement from the lower cut Patagonia trail running/hiking shoes I had been using. Those hikers had a pretty firm Vibram sole with decently deep treads which seemed to work fairly well. Dont get me wrong, these are good, but not nearly as much of a game changer as I had hoped.

Great rear tire

Just added this as a rear tire to my Trek X-caliber along with a Minion DHF in the front. Even with the big beefy knobs of the Minion I dont notice any loss of rolling speed from the stock Bontrager tires (which is a +). I converted to tubeless along with swapping the tires so that could be influencing it but I have a ton more confidence on the Georgia trails with the new tire combo. Highly recommend a Maxxis set!

Overall pretty good setup. Very easy to install onto roof rails. Very easy to load SUP onto and strap down. No complaints there at all.

My issue, however, is that on the outbound trip the straps tend to work great. I tighten and see no movement on my SUP and when I stop to unload I hear a noticeable release of the latch tension. Returning, however, they seem to loosen or stretch on the drive home. For example, I tighten them down to exactly the same tension as when I head out but a couple of miles into the return trip I pullover and notice that they are not nearly as tight as when I first left the lot. Cant tell if they are loosening from the buckles or if the straps themselves have stretched a bit from the sun.

Im not sure if sitting in the sun on top of my car while I am out on the water is an issue but it could be a bit of a concern for longer distance trips without periodic checking (even more so than recommended).

UPDATE - Ultimately upgraded to the Thule SUP taxi and LOVE the decision. After having the Thule for a year now it is 100x better than this. The SUP Taxi is more equivalent to the Yakima Supdawg but the steel cable within the strap and the curvature of the Sup Taxi is still an improvement!

Ordered these boots a month or so ago in lieu of the Danner Bull Runs that were on backorder. Could not be happier with these instead of those. The leather is substantially softer and easier to work in than the Danners (Red Wing Heritage line uses briar oil slick leather that is tanned in a wholly owned US tannery).

The leather is a fully waterproof leather that I treated with red wing silicon just for double protection. The black lug soles offer much greater traction and show dirt much less than the whites of other pairs and seem to dress up a bit better as well.

Only heads up comment would be that they run more narrow than I expected. That being said I took them into a Red Wing store and they happily stretched the leather a bit for me to expedite the break in.
