Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: Runs small
I’ve had this jacket for maybe 2-3 months and have worn it almost every day since. Saw this jacket on sale while looking for a nice down jacket; I didn’t feel like shelling out for a Patagonia down sweater or other ‘equivalent’ so I gambled on this guy.- and I am very happy. The down fill feels great, the zippers seem solid as well as the stitching, although it loses feathers more than I would like, which is why I’m giving it four stars. The hood is fantastic; I’ve never used a hood as much and the coating on the jacket makes it good for drier snow and light rain. I would recommend that you size up; I am 5 foot 9 inches and a muscular 165 and I can wear a couple layers and a Better Sweater under my size Large jacket, making it a great piece for anything down to 15 degrees F or so (wearing this in 18 degree Burlington right now!). Definitely worth the buy if you’re interested in a solid down jacket that won’t break the bank- just size up!
