This is the stiffest shoe I have ever worn.... but the advantages are unbelievable. I can stand on dime edges with barley any foot fatigue and the little pads in the toe box make it down right comfy to foot jam. I look forward to testing it out at Smith Rock and on some granite cracks this summer. The rubber is great, very sticky and hard enough to hold the edge. Moving from a soft sport shoe to this bad boy takes a couple pitches of practice but after a that it's just magic how well they feel and climb.
I am a 9.5 street shoe and I felt a size 10 was perfect. It seems weird to upsize, but it works.

At the $98.00 price point you a very nice shoe that climbs like a $130 shoe. I would compare the shoe to the Katana, but not as aggressive. The first thing I noticed was the arch of the shoe. It feels good compared to other flat shoes. I like the hemp lining, It cuts down on shoe odor and helps the shoe hold its shape. I like the hard edge of the shoe and how the poly band that goes across the toe box keeps the shoe from widening over time. I use the shoe as my gym training shoe, face climbing shoe and moderate/easy trad shoe. I sized the shoe 1/2 larger than my street shoe for am all day comfort fit.
I would recommend this shoe for anyone looking to purchase their first pair of shoes or an all around do everything shoe.
I have a 9.5 street shoe and the 10 was a good fit. If I wanted a tighter more performance fit I think the 9.5 would have been perfect.

After climbing in Murias for 15 years, I picked up a pair of Acros. Mainly because I tried them on at a demo and they were unbelievable comfortable. I could wear them for several climbs and not want to pull them off in pain, and I sent my little project first go after weeks of failure. The sticky rubber on the top of the toe box is no joke. I downsized 1/2 size from my street shoe and it fits perfect. No air pockets in the heel and the toe box is tight like an ace bandage wrapped around my foot. I brought my miuras in my pack for the last 3 trips and didn't take them out once. I couldn't leave my trusted shoe....could I ? Then I did something I have not done in a very very long time... I didn't pack my muiras and I have not looked back. I love these shoes they make my feet happy. They edge great , they smear great, the heel is awesome and they are hands down the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on.
I am stoked to have found Butora, Good job on making my new favorite shoe !
