Initially, you'd think that some slip on climbing shoes would just pop right off your feet as soon as some weight is placed into the holds. Not these though. Five Ten has done a great job shaping the shoe to create little pockets that grip around your feet to keep the shoe securely secured to your foot. As well as using their Stealth C4 rubber that keeps the shoes securely secured to the holds! These are perfect gym/long climb shoes. As long as the shape fits your foot (which is always an issue with climbing shoes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).

Isn't that what it's supposed to do? The thing is, it saved my life in such a comfortable way that I didn't once feel stressed by wearing it! It's incredibly comfortable, and I love that it has the adjustable leg loops! This is a prime harness that I'd reccomend any beginner-intermediate climber who's looking more for a comfortable climb rather than lightweight.

This was incredibly nice to have on my last camping trip. Just plop that solar panel out in a sunny spot, charge up that battery pack, and you got virtually endless music to play at the campsite (if you're one of those people, like me). Or to make sure your camera is photo ready when the time comes! I highly suggest this to anyone regularly car camping

This jacket is great! It fits a little bit bigger than I'd like, but the functionality of it made me not care that much. It totally kept the rain from getting to my skin, and still allowed me to move freely! Once you get over the "paper feel" of it, you'll agree that this jacket is one of the best out there!

This jacket is amazing! I was able to move freely, without restriction, and never once got any snow where it shouldn't be! There aren't that many pockets on it, but I like the sleek slimmer fit look.

These shoes are pretty great underfoot. They have a lot of grip, and are nice and cushiony. The only part that made me not 100% love these shoes, was that on the heel, the top wanted to dig into my achilles tendon while walking. If you're able to withstand that, they're fantastic shoes otherwise.

This is a smooth piece of equipment. It feeds the rope through really nicely and has an anti-panic handle that will catch if you're letting your climber lower too quickly. It solidifies control in belaying more than any other piece of equipment I've used.

The hip belt on this, and the sternum strap make this bag one of my favorites. Sure, the durable Titan Wrap makes this bag virtually rip-proof. Sure the outside mesh pocket for the stinky shoes is nice. Sure the detachable tarp, and deep main pocket make this bag nice for your rope. But for the long approaches, that hip belt and sternum strap come in clutch! Even short approaches, those straps will save your back!

This device is so light, but so durable. I love using this ATC to belay. It's simple, straight forward, but still keeps you on your toes. When you're belaying someone, it's easy to get relaxed and casual with it. I really only trust my climbing partners that I know have been climbing and belaying for a while with it, otherwise I'll put a grigri in the belayers hands.

These pants are incredible! Super durable, and with a bit of wax on them, waterproof. If I had to live and die in one pair of pants, it would for sure be these. Every time I slide my legs into them, I feel the forest calling to me and an axe waiting. Chopping wood is manly, but you haven't lived until you've tried it in these pants.

What I love about this one is the little lip it has to hold on to while you're belaying! Makes it a bit easier to hold in the hand, and helps to understand how it should go. I use this for people who haven't really belayed before because the auto-braking system it has is so reliable.

These glasses are amazing! You may look like a fool to those who don't understand, but to those who do, they will applaud you. These glasses make belaying so much more of a breeze for your neck! Highly recommend, even if you're only planning on going out and climbing one time this year.

If you were thinking of getting this or not. Do it. This was such a fun piece to ride in! It was incredibly warm, kept the snow out of my boots in deep pow, and allowed enough maneuverability that I didn't once feel restricted by it!
And of course, made friends with everyone else on the slopes in onesies. Can't have too many riding friends!

Setting this up took me longer than I thought it would, only because the front legs kept slipping off the sections that they should have stayed on. Once the frame was set though, and the actual chair part was on there, it was sturdy. Nice and comfy, kept me off the ground, and pretty easy to disassemble and stuff back in the sac.

I can't believe how quick this stove got my water boiling. I thought I'd have time to get it going, and set up a camping chair, wait a couple minutes, then the water would be nice and hot. Nope. It was boiling by the time I took the chair out of the sac. Pretty freaking great!

Arc'teryx makes quality products that perform incredibly well and this jacket is no exception! It's a great lightweight softshell perfect for taking touring! Its breathable enough so you're not going to be losing more sweat than you should be, but still wind and water resistant! Applause to you Arc'teryx!

I got this in a medium because Arc'teryx's stuff tends to run small in the torso, but have longer sleeves. The medium still gave me some room to grow, so a small would have fit me perfectly.
