Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Take the 8 inch inseam very seriously on these. My husband pulled them out of the box and thought they were mine because they seemed so short. When he pulled them on, I started laughing. I know some folks are into the 70s short shorts style, but it was pretty funny. Mind you, he is 6'3", so that may have exaggerated it. We returned them, but the fabric and color looked nice.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

I bought these for my husband, who is 180lb and 6'3", in a size 32. He says that they run on the smaller side but fit him nicely. They hit just above the knee.

He loves these for casual wear in the summer to run errands, go out to dinner, or hang out. He also wears them for easy, slower hikes and says that the front zippered pockets are fantastic. They are breathable but hold up better than a pair of gym shorts.

The only recommendation he has is that these should include a zippered back pocket. It would be nice to stash a small water bottle there during a casual, backpack/hydro vest - free hike.

Fit: True to size

My husband is 6'2" 180lbs and has one of these in every color. He wears a size Medium, which is true to size according to the size chart.

These are super lightweight and great for ski touring, hiking, lounging around, or walking the dog. It's true that the sleeves are longer to allow you to use the thumb loops, but they are also easy to push up and keep around your wrists instead of falling down. He's worn them on various hikes and ski tours, and they've held up well with dirt, snow, throwing gear around, backpacks on and off.

He's wearing one to work from home right now. :)

I wanted to love these and tried these in XXS and XS. For context, I'm typically an XXS or XS in Patagonia and other brands. Neither of them fit right. I was barely able to pull the XS over my butt and hips. Not sure how these are sized, but it's a weird fit! The pants themselves seem like they would be very comfortable in the appropriate size. I have a pair of the On the Go Joggers (in XS) and love them.

I'm looking for a pair of narrow, small (22/22.5) boots with a stiff flex. These hit the first two marks, and I had high hopes on the 115 flex. But nope. The flex on these boots feels more like a 90 than a 115. Very disappointed, and back to the drawing board for me.

On the other hand, if you're looking for a 90-ish flex with a narrow foot, these would be great!

I wanted to love this jacket. The styling, fitted shape, and colors are beautiful, but it just didn't work. I tried the XS, which is my normal size (and often too big) in most other brands. The shoulders were perfect, the length was great, and it was tight and fitted (which is amazing and made me very happy). BUT, the arms of the jacket were just way too short. Especially for a winter jacket, where it should come down a bit more over your hand. This jacket sleeve stopped just above my wrist. Unfortunately, I had to return it.

Fit: Runs small

I bought these for my sister-in-law who skis with Arcteryx shell pants and is frequently cold. She is typically an XS and wears these in XS; however, she says they do run a bit small. If you're in between sizes, I would definitely recommend sizing up. She has a 24" waist, for context. The zippers on the sides aren't the best quality, and we had trouble getting them to fully unzip and re-zip. The pants themselves are super warm and fit nicely underneath her shell pants. They don't pack down for travel, but it's well worth it for the cost of these and the warm legs while skiing!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm an aggressive skier who is willing to sacrifice some uphill speed for downhill performance. I've been skiing on the Marker Kingpins for a few years but decided to switch over to the full toe piece that the Shift offers. These bindings do it all. They are easy to switch into tour mode when you're at the trailhead, and they ski beautifully with a full toe and heel piece on the way down.

My only cons are:
- They are harder to get the pins in on the front of your boot than the Kingpins were. Not sure if this is just an eyesight thing or what, but the Kingpins seemed much easier.
- They can sometimes freeze up or have ice/snow build up on the binding. This makes it more difficult to switch from tour to ski mode.

Overall, I'm a happy customer so far! I've only used these a handful of times in early season tours, so I'll update if there are any changes to my review as I ski them more.

This bag is awesome. We had a bag fall apart at the end of last season, so I was so excited to see a Backcountry branded ski bag.

Pros: It is super lightweight and will fit two pairs of skis in it without a problem. Both of the skis in this photo are over 195 long. They are snug and don't move around. There are also straps inside for securing your skis and pockets to stash some extra wet gear before you hop on the plane.
Cons: The "handle" for dragging the bag is more of a strap and less of a handle.

I'm new to the Swiftwick club and loving it. These socks stay put and don't give you sweaty feet at the gym, hiking, running, at the office, whatever. I was in much need of a sock upgrade and am glad I decided to try Swiftwicks.

They run true to size. I'm a US Women's Size 5.5-6 foot, and the Size Small socks fit great. No bunching up, not loose, and not too tight.

I love these. They are breathable and not too short. I hate when I go try on other brands and they are just covering my cheeks. Not cool. Especially for hiking and running on trails, I like a bit more coverage to make me worry less about ticks.

I have a 24.5" waist and typically wear XS / 0 clothing. The XS on these fit great, but they will be too big if you're any smaller.

I'm on the smaller side for these shorts. I ordered the XS, which say they fit 24.5-25.5 inch waist. My waist hovers around 24.5", and these were just a bit too big. Might be like some other reviews said that they just had too much fabric. I really wanted these to work and am bummed they didn't. The fabric and design is really nice.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Fit: True to size

I gave these as a gift to my brother, who rides 5-6 times a week. Here's what he had to say:

Excellent shorts! They have a nice stretch, 2 regular pockets, and 2 zippered pockets. They also have a nice silicon band around the waist that helps keep your shorts up when you are flying high speed through brake bumps, roots, and rocks. The zipper pockets can fit a phone, but the regular pockets are angled and placed perfectly were your phone won’t fall out.

In warm weather, they are well vented and don’t retain heat, so you feel cool. The fabric holds up well to trees and crashes too.

For fit, I have a 32” waist and am 6'2" and the mediums fit perfectly.

Road bikes have had electronic shifting for years now and it's about time us dirt shredders got some of the technology. Zero wires! True wireless electronic shifting is a dream! This made for the easiest setup on a new bike you could ever have. The shifting is so smooth and the battery lasts a good amount of time. The battery is removable, small, and you can buy extras if you need to. The remote is programmable and doesn’t have the long lever throw that a cable lever would. I placed this on my SB130 and it just worked! The derailleur shifts great, even under torque while also being almost silent. Lastly, the derailleur will move out of harm's way if you do end up laying your bike on its side. If you are looking to put AXS on your trail or enduro bike, X01 is the best option. It is a little more rugged than the XX1 version. Once you go wireless, you will never go back.

Excellent fork with an unlimited amount of adjustments (LSR, HSR, LSC, HSC). It will take you a little longer to get this forked tuned for your perfect fit because of the number of adjustments available but once you do you will never have a better riding fork. The small bump and berm compliance is extraordinary. Brake bumps and roots are eaten up and you don’t lose traction. Over rocky terrain, it feels to have the right amount of dampness but needs to be ridden aggressively.

The range of this cassette is unbelievable. Eagle 12 speed is the way to go on any XC, Trail, or Enduro bike if you want to be able to climb the steepest terrain with ease and have great reliability. The X01 cassette is worth the cost difference versus the GX. It is lighter, made with more durable materials, and constructed better.
