I really like this jacket. It seems super warm (I live in Duluth MN so need something very warm). The hood is nice and big and covers your face partly, and the sleeves are nice and roomy, plus the ends have a tighter cuff that is really comfortable. The upper half/waist up fit me very well - extra room for layers and movement. And I have a bigger bust - 34 DD. Sleeves fit well and are roomy enough. But the lower half/hips are too tight. It just barely zips with a relatively thin sweater underneath. And then it rides up because it's so tight. The length is really nice for coming down and warming the butt. I really wish the hips fit because otherwise it's perfect! I don't think I have huge hips. My measurements are 36" hips 36" bust and 27" waist. The website says the bust is 35" on here and the hips are 37" so something is off. I want to order a medium but am worried the top will then be way too big.
What is the sizing like for these shoes? Is a 38 actually a 7.5 street shoe?
I liked these shoes but had to return them. I normally wear a size 7.5 womens street shoe, and ordered a size 7 based on other reviews suggesting these run big. The 7's were still too big for me so I had to return them. Otherwise, they were comfortable and cute and seemed like they would be great approach shoes. Unfortunate that the sizing is so off, and they don't have any more in my size.
Great shoe. I have been wearing for crack climbing on the north shore of MN. I also got them to use for an upcoming trip to El Potrero. They are comfortable. They aren't super great for super thin cracks because of the rather high profile but wide finger cracks and up they're fine for. The stealth rubber is nice and sticky. They're a tiny bit stiff for me but getting more sensitive the more I break them in. I wear a 7.5 womens street shoe and ordered size 6.5 and they fit perfectly. However I did have to cut the shoelaces off about 4" on each end because they were soooo long! The lace-up makes it easy to adjust to your foot volume. I'd recommend these for someone looking for a comfortable all-day type of shoe.
I wanted to like these but ended up returning them. I ordered a size small. I am 5'2", 134lbs, have 27" waist, 36" hips. They were too long. The distance from the waistband to the crotch was way too big and they puffed out weirdly at the top. I would try a size XS but they're out of those, and I'd worry that they'd be too tight in the thighs anyway. They'd be great on someone taller with a narrower thigh/hip profile. I also didn't care for the waistband with holes in it. The fabric was soft, comfortable and seemed durable.
Replaced an off-brand with this, glad i did. So far it's holding up much better. The narrow mouth is handy for drinking while driving or walking without splashing. It keeps things warm/cold for over 24 hours. Love taking hot tea out climbing or hiking when it's chilly. :)
