Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use these pedals primarily for trail riding, freeride and urban freeride if I'm feeling dangerous. They allow for a solid foot hold without adding discomfort. They are very nice for someone with a bad knee or ankle as I have both and it really limits fatigue. I would suggest the 2s over 3s any day because of the price but are not so competitive with the high end Mallet DH Race pedal.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I first ordered this paddle and when I received it, the shaft had a very odd bend on compression to it on one side but not the other. I returned the item and the next one had the exact same bend as did every other paddle of this model. It works and does not affect the performance or comfort. The only gripe I had with the paddle other than that was that one of the brass button springs was not bent by Carlisle properly so I had to bend it myself. All in all it is a good paddle for getting out on the water ever so often with friends or family.

I got these shoes as some sort of a backup and I will say I am very pleased with them. I was fortunate enough to be able to try them on before purchasing because they do run a tiny bit smaller than most. I usually wear a 42 but I had to get a 43 for these. Once sized properly, these shoes fit like a sock and the comfort while on the saddle is very nice. They breath much better than I thought they would after my first ride with them. I would say they could work as an XC mountain bike shoe because of the two bolt mounts and the general construction but the materials are a little cheaper as expected. They are excellent shoes for commuting and quick rides around town. They price is amazing for how well the fit is and the performance.

I am able to feel the magic that these bars work after a long day but I can really feel it. As somebody else mentioned in a review, they are rather dense and they hit your body quick. The high protein content and general mass is good for the after when taking things easy. I would highly recommend this bar for those looking for a tasty recovery option but certainly not something to eat during and activity.

This is my go to drink mix for hitting the road or the slopes. It contains all of the nutrients that I need for hydration and gives me the boost of energy to make it over the next climb or to the next pow stash. Even better is that it tastes great without having the strong, mouth drying after bits that competitors may have.

Size DOES Matter

At first I was a little skeptical I would be able to fit all my road bike rescue necessities into this saddlebag. But, low and behold, it fits everything. I currently carry a tube, two levers (medium size), one CO2 cartridge, and a CO2 head with room to spare for another cartridge or a small multi tool. My girlfriend tells me that size matters and I am passing this info to everyone (in regards to saddlebags).

This is probably the best value cage there is. Period. It may flex a little but that honestly helps its longevity as it can withstand impact or a missed bottle placement better. Some have said that it looks a little cheap but I have a white cage and a black cage on a Ridley Fenix and it actually looks pretty clean. For those looking to save weight this is great as well as it weighs almost nothing and is a mere fraction of a carbon cage. I would consider stocking up on several of these and if one does have an issue then I can easily replace it.

This water bottle is excellent. The cap is probably one of the easiest to use and secures water well. I have treated two of them pretty poorly and they work as well as when they were brand new. For the price or just in general this is probably one of the best bottles out there.

I can't say it would be easy to find a better glove especially for the price. They do take about an hour or so on the saddle to break in and stretch out a little but they fit very nicely. The padding is the perfect amount, not to bulky but provide ample absorption. I would say to buy two pairs of these instead of buying gloves that cost twice as much.

This jersey does fit a little loose as others have mentioned but it just benefits the comfort level. It breathes nicely but not too much. The three open pockets are a great size for anything that could be needed on a ride and the small zipper pocket can hold keys or some change is all. The only issue I have with the Jersey is some bunching in the front on and off the bike caused by the zipper. It is not too noticeable but it does hamper the looks.

I originally got these pedals to get into XC but I have now expanded my Crank Brothers clipless collection because of them. I do not see much of difference between the candy 1 and 2 other than the plastic vs metal but I prefer the plastic as it is a little more forgiving on the shins during rougher times. I have even put these pedals on a road bike and they perform just as well. Again I would go with the candy 1 over the 2 due performance being about the same with a much lower price.

I got these shoes to work in different disciplines and it has succeeded. XC, all mountain, and freeride as well, these shoes perform. They are rather comfortable on and off the bike when compared to other similar shoes. The only reason I have to give them four stars is that the laces are incredibly long and annoying but I was able to swap them out for shorter velcro resistant laces. The soles are also about 1 or 2 mm off from one another making it difficult to get a similar cleat height. Other than that these shoes are bombproof and look great.

This helmet is lightweight and has features seen on helmets twice as expensive. I use this for all mountain, XC, and even dabble in road with it. It does come with a bug net which protects the hair from unwanted guests when zipping around the Great Salt Lake. While fairly lightweight, the helmet seems to offer excellent protection due to its design but I hope to never test it out. I would certainly say buy this helmet if you are considering it.

I have been using dirtpaw gloves for years now and have had very little issues. they have enough protection on the back of the hand to protect from overhanging trees and the occasional fall. There is good palm protection as well without the bulky padding. I also use these gloves for offroad motorcycle rides and they perform just as well. I am only docking one star because they don't feel too great to wipe your face with but that is a personal opinion. They also work with and iphone.

This is one of the best bibs around and comes in at an affordable price. The chamois is very supportive but not too bulky. It fits nearly perfectly. The only reason I am giving it four stars is when walking around at a restaurant or coffee shop it tends to ride up a tiny bit.
