Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

I bought these Nov 2018 and it is now February 2019. - Living in Oregon, just south of Portland. These pants are perfect for this area where the winter weather fluctuates between 25-55 F. It rains 15 days of the month this time of year. - I like that these pants are not too baggy but not too tight. They feel just warm and snuggly. I think these are awesome HOME PANTS!!! I wouldn't wear them out to places really. - I like that there is a drawstring inside to tie - as I've been losing some weight the last 4 months. I will definitely get another pair when I need to size down.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wore these through nasty sharp bush hikes. Mostly in California and Washington. There was a lot of overgrowth on the trail I was hiking in. Instead of having bleeding legs- these helped protect me. I also wore them on soggy wet hiking trails in Washington. These were great to keep debris out of my shoes as well as protect me from a good amount of water. - Ultimately though - if you are backpacking and living outside for long periods of time while on the trail - you get wet eventually. - This just helps delay the inevitable. They were sturdy and comfortable. I have a muscular calf for a woman and my boots are usually 15 inch shaft. I wore the medium here with a size 9 keen targhee 2 mid boot. They are easy to put on and remove. I would recommend them to a friend. - However maybe not for hiking through the desert where I was. - I just found them super useful cause i was wearing shorts and my legs were getting so beat up!!

This is the best hiking shirt I ever had. YES I'm a lady and wore this mens shirt. I was in a fitting room and the ladies version was ill fitting and didn't have these amazing pockets!!! I didn't care it was a boxy mens cut- I just love that it protected me from the sun out in the desert as well as dried very quickly when it got wet. I had these clear white sun bubble blisters rising on my arms and after I got this shirt- I was perfect! I wore this shirt every day for several months backpacking and it is still going strong. I just love it and I recommend it for hikers. I was on the PCT. I'm hoping they improve the ladies version as -- it WOULD be nice to have a shirt that fit my body well - but oh well. Useful chest pockets are more important!

the material is great but it is just awful to wear and restrictive. I ended up getting the mens version of this top and wearing it for months on the trail. The mens version has fantastic chest pockets. I adore the mens version and recommend it. Sure it isn't figure flattering like a ladies cut top - but it protected me from the sun and was very comfortable and dried quickly.

Best socks for hiking and backpacking. After starting my trail with regular hiking socks- I quickly changed over to these. I like how they keep sweat and sand and grit that gets in your shoes from hiking all day clear. The toe separation also cuts down on blisters. Having a great foot care system for the back country helps out- and I find these socks to be integral. Make sure you get a mid weight pair that goes up over the ankles. I made the mistake of getting super thin liners once and I blew a hole in them so fast. -- The mid weight like these here are best.

I used this every night while hiking and backpacking on the Pacific Crest Trail. Wool is great because it doesn't retain odors. It keeps you warm when wet- also is breathable and keeps you cool when hot and sweating. It does smell like a wet dog though when you soak it-- but that dries out and is odorless again!! I love this beanie and will be bringing it again with me next summer for backpacking and hiking.

I wore these for sleeping and sometimes for cold mornings while backpacking on the Pacific Crest Trail. I was out there hiking for several months and hundreds of miles. I love the sprite sports bra and tank top -- I was hoping to just love these too. Unfortunately they were just uncomfortably low. I ended up mailing them back home and buying the mens version. The mens leggings had the fly hole in the front but who cares? I'm alone in my tent in the wilderness LOL. I also liked how the mens weren't low cut. If you are someone who doesn't have a perfectly flat tummy, these sprite leggings will be very annoying. I say-- give it a pass.

Fantastor is my silly word for fantastic . . . I adore this bag! I use it every day and have had a black one for the last 4 years. It has been across the world twice and into the wilderness as well as many urban escapades and my go to bag for attending classes as I finished my degree. It is tough and well made. Slings across the body comfortably and the only reason I am interested in getting another one is because I think I want to have a brighter color bag too! I highly recommend this little bag.

Cozy stretchy lovely comfy. These are all the words I can use to start to describe beyond yoga leggings! I have several pairs of this style in many colors. I always like to keep a basic black in my closet too and this is my color choice I've purchased from backcountry. I feel they run large. The Larges were falling off me even though I wear a 10 in lulu lemon bottoms and generally large bottoms everywhere. Except beyond yoga!! So think about that when purchasing! They will be your snugly favorites. I love wearing them at my barre3 classes.

This has been a hard working top for me now for a few years. I'm purchasing another because I've lost a bit of weight to justify the drop in size! I'm someone with a tummy and don't like clinging gut tops! This cuts away nicely and holds up after a million barre classes and travel and washes. I have no hang ups about showing off my seat- so the fact it's cut short in back is just fine with me. It's perfect with leggings and a tank top with a sports bra. Pretty much my go to run around uniform for workouts and errands! It's flowy and comfy!

These are my new favorite roos! Comfy breathable and if I'm jumping into a lake I don't feel like I look like the crazy woman in her panties. They are well made and I need another pair! pronto! in another color! just cause! - I wash these in the washer then hang dry in my bathroom on a hangar. They are dry and ready to roll when I wake up the next day.

My sleeping bag fits into here perfectly. The material seems sturdy and not too flimsy like many other dry sacks I've checked out. I'm using this currently and place my sleeping bag at the bottom of my pack. It is easy to roll down three times and snap closed. good product would get another if i needed

I really love this skirt! Though I think it runs a little big. I will size one size down the next time I get this skirt- which I will. . .because I would like to have it in different colors. It has a nice weight to it- it doesn't cling to the body oddly - it can be rolled or unrolled at the top to pick the length you desire. There is a breathability in this wool. It is not itchy or sweaty hot like you would imagine a wool skirt to be. Icebreaker is my new favorite clothing line and i've steadily been replacing all pieces with their stuff. This is a great run around town skirt - or even to throw on if you are headed out for a casual dinner. I was it and then hang on a hanger to dry.

This hat is very comfortable and shades me completely. I get a lot of interesting looks too - which I'm not bothered by. I can tell people are amused with this fun hat! It is very light weight and I like the mesh underneath as it keeps my head cool and air flowing. I will bring it with me to my thruhike of the Pacific Crest Trail this year.

UPDATE - I ended up sending this home because it was catching the wind too much on the trail and hitting the back of my pack. Though its super fun and very comfy - its better for something like canoeing. Not for me for backcountry.

Oregon Hiking

This kept my noggin warm while on the chilly coast of Oregon - as well as traveling all around the state. It wasn't itchy, it didn't slip off or around - and I love this black color- though I would call it more a Deep Charcoal than a true black. - Anyway its awesome and I will be taking it with me on my 2014 Thru Hike of the Pacific Crest Trail. Glad I bought it!
