I bought this jacket to replace my older Patagonia Torrentshell jacket of 2 years. My old jacket was a size M, and fit perfectly. However, this newer model is significantly larger, particularly in the sleeves and in the overall length. I was surprised that the jacket fit so large considering I own numerous other Patagonia jackets, all size M, and they all fit perfectly. So to have this inconsistency in sizing was surprising. Knowing Patagonia's reputation for high quality products, I have no doubt that the jacket is durable and will hold up for a good amount of time. Unfortunately, I will be returning/exchanging the one I bought for a different size or model.

Just purchased these and must say they have quickly become my favorite shorts. They are lightweight, breathable, and perhaps most importantly, extremely comfortable. They have a bit of a more form fitting silhouette, which I like. Overall, tremendous shorts. I will definitely be purchasing more!

***Note: These shorts are also available with a 'short' inseam(8in), so if you're like me and prefer shorts that come up above the knee, go for the 8 inch inseam!

Bought this shirt looking for a go-to shirt for my gym workouts, as well as for hiking and climbing. Overall, the shirt is nearly perfect. It is lightweight, breathable, and durable. The only suggestion for improvement would be to make it an inch longer. And while an inch may seem inconsequential, I think it would make a huge difference, especially for taller guys. For reference, I am 6'0, and the shirt comes up and exposes my stomach anytime I do any overhead presses/movements. And while I am not self-conscious about my stomach showing, I just think it would look better if my stomach wasn't always exposed at the gym. Other than that, the shirt fits and performs perfectly!

I'm 6'0 170 lbs with a slim/athletic build. I purchased a size large in Oxblood Red. I purchased a size large because of this jacket's supposed 'trim' fit and because I intended on wearing a fleece mid- layer underneath. First and foremost, the look, quality, and comfort of this jacket are all incredible. Upon first trying it on, it instantly became my new favorite jacket. Now to the sizing issues...For the most part, the jacket fit rather well in the torso/chest region. However, the jacket ran a bit long, and the waist hem was a bit wide/baggy for me. Sure, I could use the drawstring to adjust the waist hem, but it just doesn't look so great when wearing the jacket. Ultimately, I am going to say the jacket fits 'true to size', although I will personally note that it is trim in the torso, wider through the stomach/waist, and is cut long. I intend on returning the jacket for a size medium, but now I am nervous that this new size will be too small...wish me luck!
