Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 185 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

Capable and stylish this shirt jacket that performs as advertised - wear it to work with business attire or for genuine hiking/outdoors, it's perfect for most cold days (60g insulation) as it greatly reduces windage, and can layer nicely with thick tight knit wool undergarments. I especially like that after a hike I do not feel sweaty (or too cold) - this makes being outdoors so much more enjoyable. The inside liner is a smooth silky like material so putting it on is always effortless, the outside shell is essentially a wind proof and very soft cotton. The garment being made of cotton feels very comfortable giving the sense of adventure. The side pockets provide generous of room to shield your hands on a windy day or to hold your trail snacks. After two years, the wear and tear is quite minimal, unnoticeable/trivial imperfection in the cotton shell at best, buttons still work great, some of the thread around the buttons are showing, but nothing major. I've purchased two, and I suspect I will be owning a third one soon as my current one in a solid Navy will probably be wearing out eventually, this coat is a winner.

Pros
- Multipurpose - Modern stylish meets functional (hike the trail or hike to the office in business attire)
- Great modern fit - Fits many body types well (perhaps flatters)
- Breathable - Great with layering, warm and less likely sweaty on a hike, blocks windage

Cons:
- Not water proof - Lightly water resistant at best.

Built from rugged materials, hand stitched in Nepal, designed with North American contemporary style in mind - the Oxford is even greater than sum of it's global parts. The stitching (a thick course wool, 4-ply knit/purl) is well made, loosely woven with no imperfections and is *fully* lined with a thin fleece liner for increased comfort. Wearing this piece feels substantive, and exudes the feeling of ruggedness ... in spades. You will feel like you should always be carrying around firewood. The sweater hugs they body near the hip, removing room for cold air to get in. The zipper is YKK brand and zips effortlessly always, and should be mentioned that it is 'female' zip. The pockets are shallow and there is also an inside left pocket in the fleece lining. The chest pocket is so small that it's basically superficial. Wear and tear shows minimally - two years on and the sweater looks nearly the same as it did the day it was bought. This sweater meets the calling of someone looking for a unique, burly, casual wear, sweater as a coat.

Pros:
- A sweater as a coat, solidly made, rugged feeling, will hold up for years.
- One of a kind piece, perfect for casual use on cold little to windless days.

Cons:
- Poorly regulates body temps. (perhaps not always ideal for hiking or wearing indoors for example ).
- Despite being fleece lined some wool sensitive people may have an issue.
