Great looking t-shirt and comfortable. What more could you want?

I'm so used to ordering and wearing gear targeted to hiking that it's been a while since I've purchased just a comfy tee without researching moisture wicking, dry time etc lol. Immediately put it on and thought, "oh yeah, I remember cotton comfort now." note: it is a blend.

I'm always on the fence between Med and Lg with a 42" chest, and this is no different. It's definitely a slim fit, but not tight. Probably would have equally liked the Large and will be ordering more colors besides the Red/Black.

I don't know what more I can add to the rave reviews. If you're ordering this jacket you want to go light and have done your research.

It lives up to the hype and checks all the boxes: ultralight, takes up minimal pack space, keeps you dry from rain, fits very well and is actually pretty stylish for a rain jacket.

I'm always on the fence between ordering a Med or Large for backpacking. 42" chest and want a slim fit but also the option of wearing over a fleece in colder weather. The Med is perfect for me. Fleece works great but a puffy would be pushing it.

Highly recommended.

I was going to caption this with a cheesy pun like "Put this lid on it" but I was ashamed for even considering it. Those are really bad puns but what's not bad is this beanie. It's pretty much ideal.

I don't have a Shrek-sized head but apparently it's a little larger than average so I was a bit hesitant from some of the reviews mentioning it running small.

While that's true, and I would say it does run a little small, I found it still covers my ears (hmm...maybe in addition to a slightly larger head, my ears are just really high up?) Regardless, the fit was right on.

But, besides the amazing price that Backcountry offered, the star of this item is the comfort. I had no idea there were SO MANY choices in beanies and I was getting overwhelmed. But I decided to pull the trigger on this one and am extremely pleased. I've never worn such a comfortable beanie and it's that simple fleece liner that makes all the difference.

The other thing I love about this beanie is that it dries amazingly fast. When I got it I hand-washed it and layed it flat on the back of a chair (indoors) and it was dry in less than an hour. I'm sure that would be minutes if it was outside.

Love the fit. Love the comfort. Love the weight (or lack thereof). Best of all, love the price.

Highly recommend.

I'm fairly new to convertible pants and have tried 2 other products before this one. One pair fit pretty well but were very thin and the included polypro webbing belt just wouldn't hold. Not a huge problem...thin meant they dried fast and I removed the belt. But I did worry about durability and they just never "felt" like a great fit.

I'm pretty sure the second pair were meant for active paratroopers or something because they were how I would imagine wearing a kevlar bodysuit all day - HEAVY and took forever to dry, even though they were also ripstop nylon.

So, I didn't have high expectations for these, considering my past experience and the low price. But I was pleasantly surprised.

They are night and day to those thin pants. These are bomber. I mean you can feel the quality the moment you inspect them out of the box. But, while they're thicker, they're not heavy and they still dry extremely fast. These are the type of pants I can step onto a nasty trail for a week and not have to worry about. Excellent quality and durability.

I was also a bit worried because I like a slimmer fit and I had heard these pants were "pretty baggy." They're not at all. They're by no means slim...but they're far from a cargo style baggy pant. And the 30" inseam I ordered is spot-on. Perfect balance.

Oh, and the belt, while technically the same 1" webbing-style of that "other pair" is far more durable and holds tight with no slippage.

Very pleased with the product. Highly recommend.

I know. It's just a t-shirt, right? That's what I thought as well. The thing is, it's not just another t-shirt. I have scores of 100% polyester shirts I use for hiking - from expensive name brands we all know to bargain bin stuff.

They all pretty much perform like 100% polyester does. It's stretchy, wicks moisture and dries pretty fast. But, for some reason, this is a cut above. It fits great. I border on M/L so I never know which to order. This time I went with a medium and it's a perfect fit. Not so baggy it's unmanageable under my pack, but not so snug I feel constricted.

But back to the material. It just feels different than polyester. It doesn't have that

If I have a tent that is roomy, durable and keeps me dry in Florida rain and humidity, I'm pretty happy. This does just that. Easy to setup and affordable are definite bonuses.

I took a star off only because the poles are so long that they greatly increase the space needed for packing. Also, it's a monster weight-wise. Obviously, this isn't going in my pack and I purchased for casual camping as a spacious 1p...so those factors weren't a surprise. But that's really the only thing that could make this truly perfect. And, yes, it's nitpicking.

This was everything I had hoped when I was researching fleece layers. Fits great, is very lightweight, but also warm without overheating. A lightweight base layer and this pretty much handle all my hiking needs so far.
