Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 185 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

Only used this once on a 30 degree New England day andwas very disappointed. Fit is decent in the body but sleeves are extremely long. The main complaint isn’t breathability or lack there of. There are zero vents and I had the jacket pretty much totally open to get air. Which you can’t do in a rainstorm so pretty much defeats the entire purpose of this jacket. Can’t believe Pearl would design such a bright popping Pink jacket without putting vents anywhere. You could not ride with this jacket if you’re riding hard or you’d die of overheating which leads to freezing if you’re riding with it in cold weather.

Reasons I initially got this tire were I was looking for a gumwall tire that was easy to mount. My Reynolds Strike wheelset that came with my Canyon Aeroad seem insanely hard to fit tires, and did a lot of research to decide on these. They don’t feel quite as fast as the Conti Force’s that came with my bike, but still feel fast, are a smooth comfortable ride, and really trippy. Not to mention, easy to mount! Love the look and everything about them so far. Loses one star for not quite as fast as the Contis. But overall very happy buyer

Size Purchased: large/xl

I am blessed with somewhat short chubby sausage fingers. Large/XL worked best for me. Still, there is a little room at the end of each finger that gets slightly cold after about an hour of use. Love these for a cold, New England cyclocross race that's 50 minutes, but have been using on cold weather 30-45 degree road rides. Overall, great color and awesome feel on the bars!

Long wait is over!

I bought the POC Octal orange helmet and it took a long long time to get here. Since I had my eyes on it since last summer, it seemed even longer. This was not due to CC, but due to POC not anticipating the huge demand for this helmet. That point aside, CC did it's best to get it here on time and I thank them for that. Out of the box, super bright helmet that has way more coverage than my old Giro Atmos lid. Really light and you barely notice it on your head. It does hold my Smith Pivlock shades if I am not riding with a cap under my helmet. I commuted in the rain today and wore the POC cap that comes with the helmet underneath the Octal and my glasses did fit, but did not seem totally secure. I had to take glasses on/off four or five times as the weather kept changing, was getting a ton of road spray, fogging up on climbs, etc... It did hold the glasses but not as well as riding with no cap at all. I also tried the glasses hold with a rapha winter cap underneath and the eye garage did not work at all in that scenario. Only other thing that is disappointing is that POC includes a card that claims the helmet will fade in strong sunlight. Strong sunlight? Who doesn't ride some days in strong sun? Besides the glasses garage not being totally what it claims to be, and the helmet most likely to fade... Overall- love how safe the helmet feels, how flashy and bright the color is, and how it fits superbly.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have these in neon yellow and love them. I usually wear a liner underneath and have ridden this entire winter and rarely been cold. Last Saturday was 10 degrees and I rode forty miles, the last ten in a blizzard, and my fingers got very cold. I imagine there are no gloves that will keep you warm on a bike ride in a polar vortex. Still, these did a pretty darn good job! Also love the bright yellow, IDK why CC does not carry those ones. Trick- buy these in the off season--- bought mine last summer for 20$ on amazon

I have washed once with a gentle cycle and so far the letters have not peeled off, as mentioned by another reviewer. Also they do a great job of keeping the slop off, adequately waterproof. Only complaint was the last time I wore them the right leg on my quad slipped down below my bibs exposing my knee. Super annoying as you have to try and hike them up while riding. Although this was in about 38 degree weather and consistently raining for 3 hours. Otherwise, I think they do the job.
