Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs small
Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 170 lbs
Size Purchased: 10.5

Outside, they feel extremely durable and should last through some decent mountain use. I have a high instep that causes me some problems with fit despite my 10.5D shoe size. Had to get special hockey skates with a deep fit, chacos are not my friend, and so are these shoes. I can barely get into them. It is an epic struggle. Once in, the narrow toe box, even for my regular width feet feel tight and start to burn after a few minutes on the bike.

Worst Tires Ever
1 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought these at the end of last season, mounted, didn't get to riding (or attempting to ride them) until spring. Pulled them out of the garage, where the bike is kept climate controlled and hanging and they have dry rotted. Been riding another mountain bike while this hangs and I sit and stare. Finally logged in again today and remembered to write a review. As with most Continental product, it is worthess. 0.0 trail miles ridden.

Solid piece of gear

This vest is a trusty standby. All through fall I'd wear this vest, with light fleece under it and it was perfect. I'm 6' and 155lbs - the medium fits me fine. Like they have mentioned below, its a core piece, you won't be pulling this on over a lot of things - but it really does an exceptional job of keeping you just the right temp. Roomy pockets, although I wouldn't call them handwarms, mine tend to get a little cold in them. The vest does pack into its zippered chest pocket. It takes a bit to stuff it in there, but it takes just a couple minutes, then some weight on it to compress it enough to zipper it shut. It also has a loop when packed down to hook it to. Nice thought. I'll attach a photo of if packed down - reference is just a regular hat. I love this vest and it goes everywhere with me.

I am stunned at how light this jacket is for 800 fill. My wife has a slightly older Marmot down that's 650 and the thing weighs twice what mine does. I'm 6' and 155lbs, the medium fits me perfectly. Great articulation and its very very warm. I tend to run hot so with just a light baselayer under it I'm usually perfect. I have worn my Pat synchilla fleece under it and it works well. Packs down quick and easy (attached photos below) and is my new favorite jacket. I even ordered my brother the vest of this for Christmas the day I got my jacket.
