Hey my name is Michael and I am originally from Sun Valley, ID. I have been skiing since I could walk and always have loved the outdoors. My favorite sports are skiing, mountain biking, wake boarding, wake surfing, and camping/hiking. Ive been down in Salt Lake City for 4 years going to school at the U and I love it. Cant beat the powder that we get at the Bird. Hit me up if you have any ski or camping questions.
Hope to see you shredding the Gnar out and around the Salt Lake Valley

I have had these shoes for about 2 months now and I have had no problems with them. They fit very traditional to nike sizing if you have ever had a pair of nike shoes before. These are a great lower profile shoe that keep your feet decently cool in the warmer temps. If you are looking for a nice all around shoe definitely check this one out.
I bought this for my 1.5 year old black lab in a Medium size. This worked out great for her, she barely realized it was on after a few minutes. This kept my dog warm and comfortable when I was camping. Temps got to about 15 degrees F and she was fine. This was also a great option for her for sleeping because it would move with her and would not fall off. The jacket is able to stuff into its own pocket so its very compact and easy to pack. If your looking for a nice easy to use dog jacket definitely give this one a look.
I have had these booties for about a month and I have used them camping one time so far. I was camping in Idaho and it was about 15 degrees F at the coldest part of the trip and these booties kept my feet warm very easily. I mainly used them for around the campfire walking. If you're looking for a good pair of warm booties that pack down pretty small for a good price definitely check these out.
I have had this pack for about a month now and so far it is great. Has enough room to hold my Canon T4i as well as a 75-300 mm lens attached to the body and enough space to store another 2-3 lenses depending on how big of a lens you have. I love how this pack comes with a stow-able rain cover that is hidden under the bottom of the pack and inside the pack there is another draw string cover that you can use to cover your gear when its raining or snowing outside. This pack has a nice tripod carry section on the side of the pack and the added bladder integration is a great plus. If your looking for a nice day pack for taking pictures this is a great choice.
I bought these gloves right before a ski trip to Jacksonhole and I am glad that I did. The average hi temp when we were there was -3 F and these gloves kept me super warm almost to the point that my hands were sweating. I would recommenced these gloves for anyone that wants a great glove that is super warm in cold temps. I got a size Large and it is perfect for me.
This shirt is super soft and pretty tall which is great. Its not like those shirts where you go up a bigger size and the shirt gets boxier rather than taller. I made sure to wash this in cold water and I hung it up to dry so as to not have the shirt shrink so much. I would recommend this shirt if your looking for some taller sizes.
I have worn this hat for about 2 weeks not and it is great. I love the feel of the hat and the color is a nice hunter orange. If you like snap backs and want a sick hat I would recommend this hat for sure
I have had these shoes for about 3 weeks now and they are great. They are as comfortable as any nike shoe that I have owned. They fit true to your normal size shoe and have pretty good traction on the soles for a tennis shoe. So far I have had no complaints on this shoe and now I am just waiting to see how long they can last for.
I have had these boots for about 2 weeks and I have used them almost every day. After the first day of breaking them in I have not had a problem with the shoes. They are very comfortable and provide great support. I have used them hiking and walking through creeks and they are pretty waterproof. The one think I did not like was how short the laces are but that was an easy fix. I just put a spare pare of tennis shoe laces in there and problem solved. I did notice that when I ordered them that they fit about a half size bigger than my regular street shoes but I have a narrow foot. If you have a wider foot you should be ok. If you need an all around hiking/durable boot definitely give these a try.
This headlamp is great. It has many different light settings for different situations including red led lights for later at night, a strobe setting in case you wear it while bike riding or need to get someones attention. When you have the normal light setting on you can hold down the main button and it can dim or brighten the light power to your specific needs. If you need any sort of headlamp for any outdoor activity I would highly recommend this lamp. They even provide you with the first set of batteries so its ready to go out of the box.
I have had this sleeping bag for a few weeks now and it's great. I have not been able to test it to the -20 F that the bag can handle but I have taken it to about 35-40 F and it was super warm, pretty much to the point where I had to unzip the bag a big at the feet to let some heat escape. This bag is great otherwise. Super comfortable and very light and the stuff sac/compression sack is very convenient for packing the bag even smaller than it is. If your looking for a warm durable sleeping bag definitely check this one out.
This sleeping pad is great. Its lightweight, packs down very small which is great for long camping trips, and the stuff sack for it also doubles as a air pump for the pad as well which is nice so you're not huffing and puffing to blow it up. I have used this pad only a few times this summer but so far I have had no problems with it.
This tent is great. I used it for the first time last weekend and this tent is very easy to set up. Took me about 5-10 min my first time and after that probably only about 5 min. The tent was super warm and I got it in the Alpenglow color and its great. The vestibule has a ton of space to hold my bags and I even had a little spot for my dog to sleep in.The inside of the tent had enough room for 2 people but not a lot of extra room for tons of gear. The Tent is pretty light weight and easy to pack up. I would recommend this tent to anyone that is trying to get into camping or looking for a nice upgrade.
These pants are great for any outdoor work you have to get done. I use these working construction and camping in the summers. Very durable and don't tear very easily. If your doing any sort of outdoor activity and need a highly durable pant definitely check these out.
I have used this pack about 3 times since I bought it and it works great. My dog didnt like it at first but after walking around in it she just forgot about it and would walk and run and try and swim with it. If your dog is in between sizes and is done growing I would recommended going for the smaller size because I went for the bigger size since my dog is almost full grown and it fits everywhere but the front chest strap. I did not have any problems with the pack its self just the water bladder that was in it. After the first hike with my dog one of the bladders started leaking but it was probably caused from my dog or weak plastic. Other than the bladder leaking this is a great pack and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to take their dog on a day hike or a multi day camping trip.
