Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Took this on a trip to see my sister in SoCal! It was the perfect bag for a week and I loved all of the varied options for carrying it. I ended up renting a bike to get around most of the time, and I had no problems maneuvering a new city with this bad boy! I loved all the different pocket options as well, and the throwback style!

Hot AND Cold!
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

In the Immortal words of the Great Katy Perry

"Cause you're hot then you're cold
You're yes then you're no
You're in then you're out
You're up then you're down
You're wrong when it's right
It's black and it's white"

Great Mug though! Keeps the cold things cold, and the hot things hot! Love that it's basically indestructible. Which I really need, as I used it primarily at my desk.

First Shoes!
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

For my first pair of climbing shoes, they are prefect. From what I have heard, they are not as aggressive as some, but this works really well for my tender baby climbing feet! I have done some indoor bouldering in them and they have been a great start! I am looking forward into getting into more climbing so I can finally understand what the heck climbers are talking about!

These are a super fun, all around binding if you are looking for something that will serve you on the mountain! I took these out in the middle of a pretty gnary blizzard, and did have some difficulty getting the catch to release as they got gunked up with snow as the day progressed. But overall, I found them to be fun, solid and a really nice pair of bindings!

Killer Bindings!
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Tried these out on a slushy day up at Brighton and loved how they gave me amazing control without sacrificing playfulness! They were super user friendly, easy to adjust and some of the easiest bindings I have found to pop on and off! Had a great time, and can't wait to use them again!

These were easy to install, and I loved the way they look! They preformed well all day, though they did have a tendency to pinch the front of my boot, especially as the snow got a little choppier later in the afternoon. I am sure that this is something that I could have prevented with a little more adjusting on my part! Otherwise, they had awesome support, a super comfortable ankle platform and gave me amazing confidence as I work on my snowboarding skilz.

Supreme style can be hard to come by. But with these Potter-esque peepers your toes will be looking and feeling great! These are lightweight, deliciously soft merino wonders. Perfect for layering under your favorite Chacos, or cushioning your sweet shins from the rigors of a winter boot! 10/10!

My brother is a Marathon runner who often has problems with seams and chafing as he gets into the upper miles! He loves this for winter runs as it's lack of seaming make this a non-issue. The material is soft, the waffle pattern holds in the heat with ease while training through the Michigan winters!

Gave these to my brother for Christmas and he loves them! He really has a hard time with shoes sometimes because he has knobby feet from years of running! He said the shoe has a nice buttery feel, with a super supportive sole! 10/10!

These are the most comfortable snowboard boot I've ever worn! I normally wear a 9.5-10 in Women's and the 9.5 fit me perfectly with a super super thick sock! This boot was snug and comfortable, and with the BOA duo I got it tuned in perfectly to my foot! I ran them out in a super cold day and had no problems staying warm. They were a little stiff, but just enough that I felt really in control and confident.

If you want a tough pant that is butter soft, aerated perfectly and keeps you dry in almost every possible condition. These are the bibs for you! I've taken them on the slopes a few times in Utah and they have not let me down! A little long on me, but that is to be expected!

I used this jacket an on overnight hike in the Unitas and loved climbing into it in camp! It was very comfortable, and hairy as the title suggests! I really loved using it as a layer, but did notice that it held on to odors very easily. Even after washing it a few times, it sill retained a bit of sulpher smell from the hot springs we visited!

Though not technically a backpacking tent, my group decided to bring this tent out to the Backcountry for a night of hot spring camping! It was easy to set up, and had a very fun little attached welcome mat! Once inside there was so much room we were astonished! We lit the whole thing with one lamp, and had a great time playing cards and sleeping in the chilly Utah mountains!

We did get a little cold, but were using it in 30 degree weather. So anything warmer then that you should be fine!

This jacket is amazing!

First impressions, the exterior material is soft and durable. Once you put it on you can snuggle into it like the warmest sleeping bag you've ever snuggled into! It is a really nice, perfect coat to take on an overnight camping trip or a hike up in the mountains!

I got this for my sister who is just starting to climb in southern Ohio! It is the prefect little bag to hold all of her rope, chalk and gear! She loves the fabric and how comfortable it is on her back! Hopefully she will send me over some pictures soon so I can post about the bag in action!
