I have become a huge fan of Redwing over the past few years. Their quality and durability as well as the ability to be resoled has made them my go to footwear. The break in period on these was much less than the Iron rangers and i have to admit the ease of slipping them on and off has really bumped these to the top of my footwear favorites. they quality of the leather the sewn seams and overall build is impressive and looks great. I am looking forward to years of use out of these and then years more once they are re soled. sizing is as expected with Red Wing, I personally size down a full size from my street shoes but i would recommend at sizing down at least a half size from "normal" street shoe size.

The Micro Puff Hooded Jacket is fantastic. I have used Nano Puffs for years and really love the lightweight functionality of the Micro Puff. It is very lightweight and small while still providing plenty of warmth. It is a great mid layer when its really cold and functions very well on it own.

My wife and i both have used them and enjoy them. the Avant Featherless is really great. It lives up to its name very well with high loft in the baffles that looks like down and an overall performance and feel that is as close to down as i have seen so far in the synthetic category. There are of course some drawbacks such as smallest packed size it is capable of, but for a great mid synthetic layer it is a very good and toasty warm option.

This Jacket is astoundingly light while still offering all the weather protection that is expected out of a Gore-Tex shell. Its never a question of if you want to bring it along or not because it is so small and light you might as well bring it. Simple quality construction that i have come to expect from Arc'teryx

This jacket is so well designed. Using distinct fabrics to save on weight and add strength where needed is fantastic. The overall quality and design is up to the high levels i have come to expect from Arc'teryx. This is one of the best lightweight and durable backpacking shells available.

This shell is great. It is not the burliest shell around, but that is exactly the point. It weighs very little and keeps the weather off when called upon to do so. It has done great fighting the wind and precipitation and it should do that for a good long lifetime.

The Nano 22 at .8oz and with a nice sized gate and deep basket makes this my go to carabiner for my alpine draws and cams. The small nose on the 22 makes them extremely versatile when needing to fit into tight chains or other snug spots. All in all they are my favorite and most used small carabiner.

Shower and more... in peace and comfort

The Heliopolis is a burly, sturdy, thoughtful and quality item that adds an amazing amount of comfort to the car Glamping set up. From the desert to the mountains it provides the privacy necessary for bodily functions and cleanliness needs. from the waterproof TP cover to the net storage on the roof and the mesh ventilation/ drainage around the bottom seam all set the Heliopolis apart from its competitors. For easy water removal we use a squeegee to wipe the water out the mesh around the base. Using it with the Helio shower is seamless as of course they were designed to be used together. Very pleased with the overall quality, and usefulness of this as i have been with almost everything I have had or used from Nemo.

Camping Comfort and Cleanliness!

I love to get dirty, dusty, muddy, sweaty and stinky, but sharing a two man tent with my wife and dog after doing any combination of those things can get a bit malodorous. The Helio Shower is so clutch for this purpose, and to do everything from rinsing off the dogs paws to cleaning dishes, bikes, etc... If you pair this with the Heliopolis tent it works like a charm. It seems pretty tough so far and like all things Nemo it should hold up for ages with a bit care on my part.

These water cubes are great for around base camp, and collecting larger amounts of water. the 10L size is easy to carry with the handle and although the product is thin the material is relatively sturdy with care should hold up well.

The FirePit has become one of the most indispensable and favorite items in my car camping set up and the solar cover is a fantastic addition to it. The FirePit needs energy to power the fan and though the battery is very long lasting using it for days, especially if you are using it multiple times a day the battery will need to be charged . Enter the Solar Cover, not only making transport and carrying easy, but also allowing you to keep the FirePit Charged and ready to run the fan and even charge other devices like, phones, headlamps etc... In a few short hours in the sun the Solar cover replenished the power used for or fire from the night before and the first morning and by keeping the batter charging whenever possible, we have been able to maintain plenty of power for what would be endless use. If you have the FirePit and plan to use it for any sort of extended periods of time the Solar Cover is an absolutely invaluable necessity.

The Mountainsmith Trippin Fanny Pack is great. The size is perfect for what i was looking for. I can carry a small jacket, my keys, wallet, phone and a half liter or liter of water depending on what small jacket i have packed. It wears well over the shoulder and around the waist. The Cordura Fabric seems super durable and the inner sipper pocket and hang loop are nice thoughtful touches. If it holds up like the Mountainsmith stuff i have from years past i will be using this for a considerably long time. I am very happy with this purchase

I really enjoy these shoes! I have had them for just a couple days but have had a hard time taking them off. the very breathable somewhat sock like upper fits and forms well to the foot without being too restricting. The rubber wraps the toe just enough to help protect you a bit from accidental kicks that occur while running. The boa is very simple secure, efficient and easier to use. The overall grip from the continental rubber soles seems good so far and i am excited to put it to the test in the desert this spring and summer. The toe box is much more spacious than most Adidas have had in the past. It is not as wide as some other brands out there but it has plenty of room for me to spread my toes out a little bit to the sides. I have only put two short runs on them so far but overall comfort, weight and durability seem great so far.
-Update-
Having been running, hiking and living in these for a few months now I am still just as happy as I was in the beginning with these shoes. They are holding up well under the heavy workload they have had as they have been my go to shoe for everything lately. I really like the construction and the fabrics used on them, it is lightweight and breathes very well in the hot and dry desert heat. The Boa is working well, although i did have to work some sand out of them after a few longer days in the desert. Overall this is one of my favorite shoes ever.

I had to pick up a new one because i stored it wet and i had some rust build up on the flash i have had for over 5 years. I got a new one because it has been so dependable and efficient through years of use. Great easy go to water boiler!
