Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have used this for air travel to either concerts or music festivals in other cities and have to say this is by far my favorite bag I have ever owned. To be perfectly honest this is purse that looks sporty enough to pass as a pack. There is plenty of room with straps to lash as big enough jacket as you need. The best feature is that they designed the bag to allow you to easily slide the bag to your front side with everything easily accessible.

I have a few TNF Gore-Tex jackets, so I haven't had a chance to wear this one until recently. If I need a versatile jacket that can deal with either wet and/or cold this is the one I will go with. It has the feel and flexibility of a TNF Apex jacket, but it is both breathable and waterproof. The pit-zips are always a valuable feature. Two odd things are there is no loop at the collar so you can place it on a hook to dry and there are no internal pockets (but there is a Napoleon outer pocket). I will take this jacket to any Colorado evening spring outdoor concerts as it will be able to handle almost anything.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been disappointed by the quality of TNF pants in the past in that they either made questionable design decisions (Velcro) or the fabric just didn't last the test of time. These pants have finally achieved what I expect from TNF. They look like more modern khakis, so I can get away with wearing them at work, but they also make great casual, travel and hiking pants as well. They have held up well so far.

Perfect for going to the gym, cool weather and as a mid-layer with a shell. The material is a bit more durable than what you would find on an average hoodie, plus it seems to protect from the wind a bit more. It is a little tight, but I see this as a positive.

This has to be one of the warmer TNF jackets I have owned, and that is saying a lot since I have 16 of their jackets in my closet. It is also one of the best looking. Snow is no problem, but I probably would go with something else in heavy rain. I guess the only thing that I would want to see would be pitzips because it is so warm. Fits like a dream.

The hood is permanently attached.

This is the lightest TNF shell I have owned, and I see it as a premium windbreaker that doubles as a rainjacket. This is perfect since this allows for more effective layering. Put a Thermoball on underneath and you have a very toasty combo. It is a pretty sharp jacket and of course Gore-Tex!

If used on a windless, dry and cold day, or if used under a shell it is very warm and comfortable. I bought a Dryzzle (which is kind of a Gore-Tex windbreaker/rainjacket) and this works very well with it. The flaw in the design is the large amount of seams where cold air can move through. Super lightweight, but so far I am not sure if I like the style or not.

I lost a TNF Apex jacket that I have had for years, so I decided to try out the Chromium. I have worn it on a few Colorado mornings that were well below freezing and it delivers the warmth and it looks great too. There are no interior pockets and the material is a bit more rigid than a standard Apex. The sleeves are a bit long, but I like it that way.
