Now That's A Tent!
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Took this tent to our families annual Lake Powell trip, and I was impressed. I'm sure you know how roomie it is, from reading all the other comments. But now of them mention the durability on this bad boy! We got hit with a rain/wind storm one night. Having wind up to 30mph. Our tent held up just find, keeping us dry. The well designed rain-fly kept our tent sand free as well. Sadly our neighbors tent next camp over was in the lake water with all their gear...

My boyfriend wasn't much of a camper before me. So I've teaching him the ways of the outdoors. One thing he really struggles with is sleeping pads and sleeping bags. Due to being a side sleeper. Got him this pad. AND HE NEVER COMPLAINED AGAIN! He actually referred it to sleeping in a hotel, but better. Now he is able to get comfortable fast. Doesn't have to toss and turn at night. And is well rested for the adventure that lays ahead of us in the morning!

DB has changed the game. For years I was hooked on the Patagonia black hole duffel. But one trip with this bag, and I was sold. Ill never go back.

Not only is it sleek and stylish, but soft. The back panel and straps is lined with a polyester fabric. So I dont have those ugly and painful red marks on my shoulders/back. For so long I dealt with other bag dig into my shoulder...... WELL NO MORE!

If you are looking for a great night rest, without putting in the work. This pad is the one. . While everyone was stressing and taking a while to pump up their air mattress. I was able to take it out of the case, set it out, open the valve. And the pad did the rest. I was able to walk away and come back to a inflated bed. WITHIN MINUTES! If you didn't want to wait, super easy to blow it up yourself.

This pad was not only soft, but incredibly comfortable. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Giving me a good nights rest. I was in warmer temps, so I didn't get to test in colder weather. So Ill have to give an updated review.

I got this pack for my climbing trip in CO. I used it for day trips, but realized I can easily be used for those 2-3 day trips.
As for a approach pack, it was able to carry around all my sport climbing gear, rope, change of clothes/shoes, and lunch. With all the gear loops, pockets, it was easy to be organized.
The main thing that sold me, was how versatile this pack is. I can use it for weekend trips, mountain biking, ice climbing, pretty much any activity. Its nice to have a pack to does everything. That way I dont have to waste money buying a pack for each sport.

Favorite features:
Ice axe and trekking pole attachments
Helmet attachments
Gear loops

Dislikes:
Doesn't come with a resistor-sold separately

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

"The aspects are a good beginner shoe. They fit true to size. I usually wear men's 10.5. So a 10.5 fit with my toes really jammed, if you like that then perfect. But I think I could go up a size for more comfort and still have my toe curled. My only negative about the shoe is the rubber took a few climbs to really start gripping. But it eventually did. And I didn't want to take them off!"

This pullover is growing on me more and more. I might wear this pullover a little too much. Its perfect for running around town. Works as a windbreaker for those chiller biking/climbing days. Mid-layer for winter days. Lightweight, quick-drying construction keeps you cool and dry, making it perfect for any activity. But also a order protection, so you can wash it less, and wear it more!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

There is space for all my gear! It has side straps you can Velcro together. I find myself attaching things on the side with my carabineers. The side zipper pocket is HUGE! That way I can put many/big things in it (for a side pocket). I love the two side straps. So it’s easy to pick it up and place it on the bed or where ever. What I love the most, the removable backpack straps. Sometimes it’s hard to carry a duffel. Throw it on the back and it dissipates the weight making it seem lighter. Plus I have an extra hand to hold my drink or carry about bag. Some have wheels. This bag is amazing.

I refuse to buy a helmet with the MIPS technology. You only get one brain. I will protect it as much as I can. The last think you want to be worrying about while riding next to a bunch of cars going 25+ MPH, will my helmet protect me if I took a hit, or fall. So if a helmet offers better protection like MIPS...Just pay the extra amount for it!

Trace’s AirEvac system relieves hot air that builds up on your eye wear to prevent fogging. Eyewear storage is made easy by channels on the side of the helmet that hold your eyewear in place for those grueling climbs.

Took it down to Southern Utah to rip the biking trails. I've own quite a few different biking packs...And im very impressed with Platypus pack.

Fits nice snug around my back and hips. Most of the time I forgot it was even there. FloatAir back panel that is highly breathable, that way you dont have those embarrassing sweat marks.

Comes with a 3.0L zip reservoir. So you'll have plenty of water while out on the trail. The hose has a magnetic retention. So you dont have an annoyed hose bouncing around while your biking-stays right in place. Plus it makes it easy to take a drink one handed and push it back into place. No time wasted messing with your hose. Nice if you are shooting for a new Personal Record.

Plenty of space in the pack itself. My favorite feature was the mesh pockets. That way I know exactly where everything is. No searching for things on the bottom of the bag. No black hole effect! Also has a scratch free fleece-lined pocket, for your sunglasses, phone. Tool organization and separate pump sleeves. Rainfly pocket down at the bottom.

Like it! Love it! Cant live without it!

Weather you are the belayer, climber, this is a solid harness! My waist is tiny, while I have thighs and a butt. So trying to find something that fits around my legs comfortably and around my waist tight is very very rare, and difficult. With the FuseFrame technology fits in all the right places. Also very light weight compared to my Mummut harness. Has big side loop to fit all my gear!

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I got this watch mainly to track my biking and running. Nothing is worst then driving away from the biking trail while your Strava on. But ended up returning it due to getting the Fitbit watch instead as a gift. But seems to be a great watch. Only thing wished it was a touchscreen.

Took this bag winter camping. In temperatures easily under 17 degrees.Felt like sleeping beauty. Because while everyone had a cold hard night. I was warm and asleep till I arose from a slobbery kiss from my sweet 4 legged furry friend.

Should of gotten the Large, due to long torso. Really loved the cuffed wrist features so its not sliding all over my hands, and keeps air from getting in. Took it winter camping, where the temperature was easily under 17 degrees. But didn't overheat on commutes. Would definitely recommend!
