4 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was ready to take my glamping game to the next level, so I bought this beast. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I would have given it 5 stars but the first time I used it one of the poles broke, however, ALPS customer service was amazing and they had a new pole in the mail that same day.

It was extremely easy to set up. I'd set up a few 4+ person tents before and it was always a headaches, but this was a breeze. Dare I say, it might even be possible to put this large tent up solo!

7ft. is way taller than I thought but it was amazing! I've never felt more comfy camping, especially going from a 2 person backpacking tent to this glamorous house.

The amount of windows is awesome! Plus, the room dividers are great, but always easily tucked away.

I fit a plush, queen size blow up mattress in it with plenty of room to spare.

Lastly, the tent bag it comes in couldn't be more convenient.

If you are looking to truly embrace all things glamping, then this is your next purchase!

#Chaconation for Life
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

So I've heard the rumors about Chacos, over and over again. I was skeptical to say the least when I purchased these, especially given the high price point but I'm here to say I'll never go back to anything else! These things go with me everywhere (trails, town, airports, vacations, rivers, lakes, mud, and up trees). Given the choice to wear "cute" sandals or my Chacos, I always choose Chacos.

On the hiking and adventure note, I trust these as much as my hiking shoes. I take them on moderate hikes, with elevation gain, over rivers, and they are amazing for climbing rocks.

It was a toss up between the ones with a toes strap and ones without and I'm glad I got the toe strap, worth the extra few dollars. The toe strap is what makes these such great adventure sandals and why I trust them in almost any condition.

True believer.

Super Solid Duffel
4 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I took this duffel on a 9-day European adventure. It rocked it. The duffel was big enough to fit all of the adventure gear in it while also still qualifying as a "carry-on" on an international flight.

I love the side compartment for shoes, it was awesome to keep the dirt and stink all in one place and not on any of my other gear. The other side compartment was amazing for holding entertainment (coloring book, pencils, pens, Sudoku, magazines, a book, headphones, chargers, and snacks).

The straps to make it into a backpack could be padded, that would take this from 4 stars to 5. But still its super convenient to be able wear it or haul it around.

The biggest compartment is perfect, not to big or small.

Lastly, its a fun color and pattern. I got lots of compliments on it and I ended up checking it on the way home since i brought these back and it was beyond easy to find it in a sea of boring luggage.

Perfect size and right price point!

These are by far my favorite shorts, hands down. I own 5 and would buy more in a heartbeat! The build in liners are game changers! The fabric is lightweight and breathable, almost like having nothing on!

I wear these for every activity under the sun (and water) including running, hiking, yoga, climbing, swimming, river adventures, SUP, camping, and hanging around the house. I take these everywhere and in the summer I never go more than a day without wearing a pair. Buy them, lots of them!

For me, almost every pair of sandals require a wear in period where I can be guaranteed blisters (and usually the start of every summer too)....EXCEPT THESE. I've had other Chacos before with a hard side piece near the ankle that would give me problems. These are soft though. I wore them in Europe walking around for 10+ miles daily and had no problems. And they're great for cragging as well. (I like the no toe option too just in case I decide to wear socks with them...yeah, I'm nerdy like that.)

For an 80m rope this is incredibly light and not so small that you're uncomfortable taking a nice, big whip on it! I usually reserve this rope for send attempts and extra long routes just to preserve it. And if those ends get rough and you have to chop them, you still have a really long rope. Now get it and let the sending begin! ;-)

This is an additional order to an older model that I already have and love. These are durable and long lasting. They are nice and thick for those "emergency" moments when you are pumped beyond belief and think you need to grab the draw. I would definitely recommend these for any avid climber.

Buy em'! Here's why:

-They are comfortable right out of the box! No wear-in period or getting use to these. I was worried about the break in time, given I went from a minimalist shoe to these (4mm) but no problems at all!

-The grip is GREAT! I feel like an animal on the trail, the shoes glide over big rocks, dirt, mud, roots, grass, you name it, they conquer it. Also enough padding on the sole that the big rocks don't hurt but huge plau that the cushion doesn't add extra weight. (Warning: these are made for the outdoors, the rad grips are slippery on tile and wood floors)

-Fit is perfect! They feel like an extension of my own feet. I'll be honest, I wasn't sold on the Nav Band idea, seemed like a scam, but its AMAZING! I was unaware, until these shoes, how much my mid-sole moved around. Now, with the Nav Band I can really focus on shaving off those minutes without any worries!

-They're nice on the eyes as well!

These were my first pair of Brooks and I'm totally converted!

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Fit: True to size

I bought one for my best friend as a birthday gift, she's constantly complaining that her full buff is just too much fabric and she has tried to steal my half buff on numerous occasions so she was over the moon when I gave this to her. She's a convert and has requested half buffs for her birthday from here on out!

These were a great purchase for under my biking shorts because they offer protection without being too big and bulky. Overall they are pretty comfy, the waist is slightly tight but not enough for me to return them or get a bigger size. The material is breathable and comfortable. The padding is perfect for me. Great summer pick!

I love these gloves! So far they have only been on summer rides but I totally forget I'm wearing them! They are comfortable, breathable, and super grippy! The fit was perfect, which is a challenge sometimes because I have long, skinny fingers. I'll be buying more so I always have a stock!

The price and the color were right so I pulled the trigger.

But there were additional bonuses:
-I really like that the Comfort+ Fit System, as a woman, hair is always an issue, and this adjusts height and width to fit my hair in the helmet no matter what way I wear it! (that's huge!!!)
-Best airflow ever! Again with the hair, I have a lot of it and my head ALWAYS gets hot in helmets, I took this helmet for a pretty serious ride this weekend and never once did the thought "my head is hot" ever pop into my head! (another big win).
-Visor is key! Enough said!

TBD on the antibacterial padding inside, so far, no stank, but its only been on a handful of ride.

Overall, rad helmet for the price!

Bike apparel is always hard for me, i'm not the typical size or shape of bikers and I was beyond stoked when I tried these on. They are snug everywhere without being too tight but stretchy and roomy where I need it. If you're a stick, likely not for you but it was perfect for my curves!

Plus, bonus, the print is so badass!

Let me preface this, I have yet to crash with this helmet so I can't tell you how it performs under pressure but so far it's a great helmet. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because my head gets hot with this on, its likely due to the large amount of hair I have and not the helmet's fault but I want more airflow. Otherwise the price was right and so far its stayed on my head and makes me look safe!

The Best of Both Worlds

These pants are amazing!!!! First, they don't look like any other yoga pants out there. The mesh is bomb, its cooling and perfect for summer yoga or hiking in hot conditions. The short fabric is breathable which was an awesome surprise and extremely soft, something that doesn't happen often with yoga pants. Their maiden voyage I put them to the test, hiking, climbing, trail running and bouldering inside, and they performed amazing during all activities.

Additionally, I get tons of compliments on them and people are always asking who makes them and where I got them. I'd order them again.

One thing to keep in mind the legs are extra long, so anyone with long legs will loooove them pants!

I'm in love, these shorts are super comfortable, almost like wearing nothing. I took them on a crazy first adventure, run in the park, then lifting and lastly climbing. They transitioned great into every activity. This won't be my pair.

I'll preface this review with that fact that I'm a yogi & climber but I def. don't have that type of body. I've had zero luck with prAna my entire life, I constantly buy prAna just to return it. The Cassidy Capri is the first ever piece of prAna clothing that has fit! Needless to say I'm over the moon.

The capri was beyond comfortable, I debuted it recently on a 3.5 hour climbing session and not once did I worry or even think about my pants. I never had to readjust them, they didn't cut in weird places and they stayed in exactly the same place the entire session. Basically ... they are what I've always dreamed yoga pants to be like.

The only strange thing about them is how long the fold-over thing is. I'm not sold on the mini skirt or whatever that thing is trying to be. But its not a deal breaker. I'll be adding more to my wardrobe.
